Stay Salty | Perfect Central Location | 1000 SqFt!

"Stay Salty" is a newly restored and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in a beautiful Georgian period property. Situated in the heart of Teignmouth town centre looking over Bank Street, we are perfectly positioned for both the town and the beach, the latter being a circa 3 minute walk. There are parking options available - See below. The property is well thought out and finished to a high standard in keeping with the quaint and charming characteristics of the original building.

Comprising of a beautiful kitchen which includes plenty of storage and integrated appliances. Also you'll find some basic supplies provided. From the kitchen there are steps leading down to the open plan high ceiling living/dining room which is light and airy due to the natural light flooding in through the sash windows.

Bedroom 1 -
King Size Double, TV, Wardrobe, powered Velux sky light, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath, rainwater shower and decorative floor tiles. Towels, soaps, and hair dryer provided.

Bedroom 2 - *** Offered as 2 x Single Beds or Super King Double Bed***
TV, Chest of drawers, Hanging clothes rail, powered Velux sky light. Towels and hair dryer provided.

Either bedroom can be offered with travel cot or foldable guest bed. (Also high chair available). Please specify when booking.

Family Bathroom -
The stunning family bathroom also benefiting from rainwater shower and bath completes the accommodation. Soaps and towels provided.

Super Fast 65 Meg WiFi provided with unlimited access. All TV's Netflix enabled.

When arriving you are greeted with a wide and open entrance foyer with oak engineered flooring being carried out throughout the communal area. There is lift access to the apartment although a couple steps in hallway and in flat between levels.

Teignmouth is a bustling seaside town with its active harbour and regency style seafront and pier. The town offers an array of shops, bars, restaurants, patisseries and bakery's. Teignmouth offers a beautiful scenic coastline with walks leading to neighbouring town of Dawlish or catch the Teign Ferry to Shaldon village (ÂŁ1.50 each way). Endless hiking and cycling options to suit all - Bike hire available at Haldon Forest. Dartmoor is a half hour drive out of town. Teignmouth Train Station is on the main line - Exeter day trip can be as little as half an hour.

For your convenience self checkin is offered by means of coded access.

Teignmouth itself offers fantastic transport links with easy access to the A380 on to the M5.

If you are bringing your car there is plenty of parking available only a short walk from 'Stay Salty'. Quay Road Car Park is a 2 minute walk away & can be paid cash at meter or smart phone Ringo app (ringo ID = 7717)

Parking is ÂŁ4.30 per 24 hours. The same car park using Ringo ID 7734 offers 7 day stay for ÂŁ30 to save you having to top up daily.. Drop me a message if you'd like further details or alternative car park info. Free parking is available at our house a mile away and shuttle for check in and check out can be offered.

Came to Teignmouth to see family and friends everyone loved the apartment. So handy for everthing, main shopping street back beach and front beach. Well equipped lovely welcome pack spotlessly clean and the most comfortable beds that will rival a top class hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and i will definitely stay there again

We had a lovely short break with 3 adults and 2 small dogs at this property its a lovely apartment beautifully presented. Fantastic location less than a minutes walk from town, shops pubs etc. hosts were fantastic really quick response to emails and very helpful. We are already looking at dates for next year

Great comms with the host and a great place to stay. We liked the cleanliness and decor. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location is great for access to the town and both front and back beaches. We also took the nearby foot-ferry to Shaldon and had a super time exploring there. We'll be happy to stay again.

We have had Amazing comfortable stay at stay salty, nothing to much trouble. Matthew & Yvonne have been the perfect host's with really clear and helpful communications from the start. A lovely welcome hamper, warm and inviting appartment with lovely festive decorations & Really comfy beds. Great location especially with us having a young toddler. Overall we have had a wonderful mini brake and felt home from home as soon as we opened the door. Hope to stay with you in the future.

This property is amazing - not only is it a high spec apartment but it’s so centrally located which allows you to be on the sea front in two minutes, in the town centre in two minutes, and at the train station in five. The accommodation is outstanding, beautifully presented, has everything you could need (great rainwater showers in both bathrooms), a fully functioning kitchen (if you want it), and so spacious. Check in was simple with full details shared in advance , and a very well received welcome basket. For us, a family with two teenagers and a small dog, it was perfect - we could get day to day essentials like crusty rolls and ‘beast pasties’ from the local shops, wander along the front with Woody (the dog), and catch a train to anywhere on the coast with ease. Our particular favourite was the coastal walk to Dawlish followed by a pub lunch and a couple of pints, the train back to Teignmouth and then dinner in the Ship Inn. A perfect day if ever there was one. We would definitely recommend Stay Salty and will be returning at the earliest opportunity - thanks Matt and Yvonne you have a treasure there.
