Awesome host and awesome home

My wife and I stayed at this awesome home and it was definitely worth the money. The host was a great gentleman, I can literally write a short story about my stay, so I will just keep it short and say that my wife and I are definitely going back. Thanks for your hospitality Mr Ricardo 🙏

Unexpected house share

My husband had to return home early and was unable to accompany me. I tried to cancel but VRBO is the absolute worst company I have ever used for anything. I was not expecting to share the house with anyone else or I would not have gone there at all. I was uncomfortable "sharing" the home with the owner. And left after one night. The place is beautiful, well appointed, lovely in every way and would have been perfect for us, I know my husband would have loved everything about this place.

Great set up in Tampa area

Very clean, comfortable place with a well appointed kitchen for home cooked meals in a great aviation atmosphere. Ricardo made us feel like we were welcome guests to his home - if you are a pilot/aviation enthusiast, he is very likely able to show you his flight Academy for underserved youth in the community. Simply awesome!

Fantastic!

The house and neighborhood was beautiful! But the owner/host was THE BEST!! Learning about his non-profit that exposes underprivileged kids to a career path in Aviation was AMAZING! My husband took a flight lesson while there as well as got a chance to try out the simulator! Everything we spent here supports the non-profit!! I would take vacation more often if I knew my money was supporting a great cause!! You won’t regret staying here! ♥️

Unique property in convenient location

Great space and unique experience at a small airstrip. Communication from host was excellent. Accommodations very welcoming. My wife and I enjoyed watching the small aircraft take off and land. Would recommend to anyone staying in the North Tampa area.

Fantastic Stay

We loved our stay here! The home was clean, comfortable and spacious. It offered a unique experience with being able to watch airplanes take off and land! Ricardo is an amazing host and we look forward to staying here again!

Everything was exactly as described, we retreated here from the hurricane

My other half and I live on the water and did not want to risk staying through one of the hurricanes that was expected to hit our area. We didn't want to go far, but wanted to get to higher ground. This place was perfect. Just far enough inland to not have to worry about flooding. It's a really central location to all sorts of things & plenty of restaurants. We never saw the host but he was good with communication and getting back to us. We didn't have any problems at all during our stay.

Great experience

As an aviation couple, this was a great find for us. We were a short distance from family and Sun N Fun. The upstairs of the house was very accommodating and comfortable. We had all the amenities that we needed. It was a pleasure to sit out on the deck and watch the planes land/takeoff. Just a great experience. We were even able to have our plane close to us right outside of a hangar. The ground was too wet and soft to have our plane at the house, but if the ground is dry, Ricardo allows you to park your plane at the house. We would definitely stay again when in that area.

Wonderful property!!

We were a bit skeptical about staying here before we arrived, as we weren’t sure if we were going to have a fully private stay. We ran into Ricardo when we arrived because he allowed us to check-in early thankfully. Other than this brief interaction, we had the entire place to ourselves. The property was amazing!! Ricardo was SUPER nice! The airfield and plane watching was wonderful. Would love to stay here again should we ever be in the area! Fantastic property!!

Fun and Unique Property!

This home located next to a small airstrip made for a fun and interesting stay. My family and I really enjoyed sitting on the cozy covered porch and watching small planes and gyrocopters take off and land. We also saw a huge number of bird species - bring your binoculars. Ricardo, the owner, was so nice and helpful. He runs a non-profit organization to get kids involved in aviation and we enjoyed talking to him about it and getting a tour. The house has a HUGE open kitchen and living area and was very clean and well equipped. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby and the location was convenient. I highly recommend stopping by the Happy Hangar Cafe (located just at the end of the street) for a great breakfast or lunch. Amici's Pizza was also very good. Both are walking distance to the house. The neighborhood is nice and I enjoyed jogging in the mornings. My family and I really enjoyed our stay!

Most unique stay!

This rental was by far the most unique stay! You are literally on a Landing strip of an airfield! It was so cool watching all of the different aircrafts coming in and out. The patio is perfect for viewing, sunsets, dinner, or just chilling. The house is super clean and the kitchen was very equipped! Nothing is more frustrating then staying in a rental that doesn't have a stocked kitchen. That is definitely not the case here. And to top it off, Ricardo was a perfect host. Extremely welcoming and very easy to get in touch with. We would definitely recommend to stay here!

Clean place. Great view of the planes from the balcony. Minutes away from shopping.

The home was clean and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. My 3 yr old really loved the view of the planes taking off from the balcony. I mistakenly left a few items after our stay was over and Ricardo was nice enough to mail them to me.

Comfort & Convenience in Wesley Chapel

Don’t hesitate to book this unique property in Wesley Chapel! Ricardo is a friendly, responsive & accommodating host who has done an exceptional job at creating a comfortable host home. My family and I enjoyed using the well equipped kitchen for meals, the comfortable patio chairs and spacious balcony to relax & enjoy the runway, & had restful sleeps on the comfortable mattresses. We loved how centrally located it was to shops and restaurants in Wesley Chapel as well as Tampa attractions, such as Busch Gardens. We’ll certainly stay here again when visiting!

Amazing location learn to fly, runway is right behind the house

If you are into flying or plane spotting this is the most amazing location. Direct runway access from the house. Perfect for watching the planes (don't worry it's very quiet the airport is very small) and flying lessons at the end of the road. My son loved it 10/10

Great, Aviation-themed venue

We rented this place for a family get together over Thanksgiving and really enjoyed our stay. The set up was perfect for a gathering with it's open great room and ample counter in the kitchen. The place was clean, conveniently located, and made for a memorable event. It was fun sipping coffee in the morning watching the planes take off!

Very pretty house, and quiet neighborhood

Great area, very responsive owners. House echos downstairs if there are people under you. House is very beautiful and had a great time. Located near the outlet malls.
