A clean and pleasant home in a peaceful community. The house has decks that overlook the water and decks that overlook the street, so you can be outside no matter where the sun is. We enjoyed the sunrises over the waterways every morning. Sunsets from the shore or a dock are a not-too-far walk away or there's parking near the spot. From the decks, we saw manatees, schools of fish, a sandhill crane, and a pelican that ate its "fresh catch" on the dock next door. The boats coming in and out were graceful and quiet. If a person wanted to do nothing else but look out over the water, there was always something to see. The views often looked like a postcard.The bed in the master bedroom was supportive. It would not be suitable for a short person, however, without a step; it was high off the ground. There are two other bedrooms to choose from.Guests have access to a community pool and fitness center. The Fish House just up the street from the development offers reasonably-priced, tasty fish sandwiches and platters on Thurs.-Sat. If you plan on staying more than a few days, you'll need to provide your own soap, shampoo, paper towels, and toilet paper. Only a limited supply is provided, but you don't learn this until receiving supplemental materials after booking.All in all, the home was a great choice and worked well for us. We would definitely stay again. We're grateful to the hosts for opening up their lovely home.
