« Excellent séjour, grande chambre, confortable, bon petit déjeuner mais peu de choix en dehors du standard anglais. Parking. Par contre pas de wifi. Intérieur calme, mais un peu de bruit extérieur le Samedi soir. »

« Lovely little hotel based on a farm, in a very quiet area. The room itself looked like a older more traditional style room with a lot of wood based furniture, the shower room was more modern and honestly puts some mainstream hotels to shame, excellent shower and the water pressure was amazing. The walls were relatively soundproof, you can faintly hear someone watching tv in the other room if you really concentrated, so all good there. The only downside in the shower room was there was no room...

« Wanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. Only slight downside were that the walls were quite thin so you could hear movements from neighbouring rooms. »

« It is not possible to say how wonderful this hidden gem of a location is. Stephen and Kris were wonderful guests. So welcoming and kind. It was our second to last night of our 8 night trip. A different place every night. Hands down, without question, the most exquisite location we stayed at while driving through England. Their attention to detail, exceptional. Quality of the bedding, towels, bathroom supplies were all the highest quality. I have stayed in more places than I can count...

« Midweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays. The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions We would highly recommend »

« Absolutely outstanding place to stay,asked us what we wanted for breakfast and a fantastic bacon and egg sandwich was waiting in the warmer in the morning amongst a lot of other breakfast cereal too,you can even feed the cows in the field opposite 10/10 »

« We both really loved this property despite having no lift1 The owner is a lovely man and brought a boottle opener from home to lend us. The breakfast was exceptional. I had OD'd on full English breakfasts for this year so the wonderful cut fresh fruit, yogurt with compote and crumpets were a great change. I really looked forward to breakfast each day! « The property is on the banks of a stream with the constant sound of a waterfall which gives it a certain ambience. Rooms very clean and staff very friendly end helpful. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent. Convenient bus service to and from Huddersfield stopping right outside. »
