Little Bird Cottage at Tamborine Mountain

Little Bird Cottage is situated in a quiet, private rainforest grove on Tamborine Mountain. It's character both inside and out is French/English Country with the added romantic atmosphere generated by its secluded rainforest setting.

An excellent place to unwind and is within walking distance to Gallery Walk, the Botanical Gardens, National Parks and numerous quality eating venues. Separated by Rainforest trees from the main house this cottage provides guests with privacy and tranquility.

The space
Little Bird Cottage is a stand alone cottage surrounded by rainforest trees and a number of Macadamia trees which provide guests during most of the year the opportunity to fossick for those delicious nuts. The cottage has a full kitchen providing guests the opportunity to enjoy their own home cooked meals.

The cottage is situated more than 100m from the road and is surrounded by National and Environmental Parks. It is truly a unique spot providing a unique experience of quietness and closeness to the natural wonders of Tamborine Mountain. A second bedroom with two beautifully appointed single beds and window bench seat adds further to the unique experience found at this hideaway cottage.

The two most commonly used words by guests are peaceful and relaxing.
Guest access

Guests access the cottage by a key lock and receive a mud map via AirBNB message prior to arrival.

Other things to note
Bed Organisation
If 5 guests they have choice of either master bedroom and queen sofa or master bedroom and two single beds. The single beds can be placed side by side.
Guest Visitors
Guests are welcome to have day visitors but are required to discuss these arrangements prior to arrival or in the event of late arrangements to advise Meredith of the situation. Security on the property is of great importance for both guests and host.

Events and Activities
Weddings or group events are not permitted as the cottage is situated in a residential area.
IMPORTANT: If guests are part of the official wedding party and intend to have photographers, family or friends visit then this must first be approved before booking. It is therefore requested that prospective guests first make a request to book and outline their intentions in relation to visitors, car numbers and times. There is an extra $200per booking requested for such groups.
