Villa Cerca del Mar #6 has a great location, just a short walk across the street to reach the beautiful Langosta Beach, and an easy walk to the famous Tamarindo area, which is full of shopping and eating options



The Space:

Close to all the action yet far enough to offer you the quiet you need this two stories vacation rental for up to 6 people, has a great location if you are looking for beach, fun, and relaxation. Located as short as a 2-minute walk to Langosta beach, with the surf break only about a 5 to 6-minute walk down the shore!!



In Villa Cerca del Mar, you will find 3 bedrooms, all of them with top-of-the-line lines and mattresses, A/C, ceiling fans, a closet, and a private bathroom, also with lots of natural light. The first room is on the main floor and has a queen-size bed. The second and third bedrooms are located on the second floor. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third has a king-size bed. Need a travel crib? No problem! Just reach out our concierge team to arrange one. Keep in mind they are subjected to availability and have an additional charge.



There is free high-speed fiber optic internet with 100mbps and signal extenders in every room to provide full coverage around the property, so you don't miss a thing. There is a 55” smart TV in the living/dining area, a 30” Chromecast enabled TV in the downstairs bedroom, and a 43” smart TV in the upstairs bedroom. You will have access to a private outdoor and spacious terrace with a BBQ grill and a private pool and also a fountain so you can relax at the sound of the dripping water. For your convenience, you'll find an inside utility room with a washer/dryer. There is free and secure parking directly outside the house.



The kitchen features wooden cabinets, concrete countertops, and stainless steel appliances, including a coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, and all utensils and cooking supplies. As a guest of this property, we also include complimentary amenities such as basic spices, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and shampoo/soaps. The condo is FULLY stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler, and more!!!

Superbe séjour

Villa très confortable et intime dans un secteur tranquille à 2 minutes d'une plage et à15 minutes de marche du centre de Tamarindo. Très agréable séjour de 10 jours en famille.

Unfortunately had to move to another property from this beautiful house...

Pre-arrival, the communication with Olber and his team was great and helpful. We were sent all the information on getting into the house and directions. We arrived at the house and got in easily. The house was clear and very well appointed. Except there was no water in the house at all! We talked to one of the neighbors who said that this was not unusual that the water "runs out" and the city needs to come and refill the water reservoir, but that only last for 2-3 days. There's a reserve tank for the house, but that was empty as well. We immediately contacted the emergency number and were told that they would reach out to get water delivered. After several hours, still no water. The property management company offered to move us to another condo in Tamarindo which was not as good of location, but at that point, we were ready to do anything. We packed up and went over there, only to find out that that condo had not been cleaned from the previous travelers. So back to the Villa we went because it was at least clean. With no water still the following morning, we discussed with the property management company and moved to another location near Playa Flamingo (VRBO #2810885) which worked out well and was very nice. It's a shame because Villa Cerca del Mar is a very nice house - can walk across to Playa Langosta and less than a mile to the shops/restaurants of Tamarindo. It would be a great place to stay if the water situation is fixed.

Water pressure

There was low water pressure in most of the house and hot water was at a minimum at best. That being said the house was well stocked with everything we needed. The location made getting around very easy and the daily afternoon monkey parade was fun to see. The close proximity to beach was great and the sunsets amazing.

Nicely appointed, responsive hosts, great location

Enjoyed 2 awesome excursions from Blue Zone. Both trips had guides which were extremely knowledgeable and very proud of their country. House was great. Monkeys visited every morning. Close to beach and a few really great restaurants. A short drive or long walk to all the activities in Tamarindo. Walk down nightly for the awesome sunsets. Would absolutely stay here again.

Playa Langosta paradise!

We had a wonderful time in Playa Langosta/Tamarindo! The Villa Circa dell Mar was perfect for us, the pool was a 2-3 times daily plunge and the outdoor shower just great. Completely private pool. The beach is a 5 minute walk and is spectacular.

Pura Vida experience

This villa was very nice and clean, which is very important to us. It had a lot of amenities and beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked and had all the modern appliances and amenities. We have nothing bad to report. All was great. The decor and style of the villa was stunning. We would stay again.

Nice Condo

The stay was generally good. The condo is very nice, comfortable and clean. We had some problems with the check in and a shower, the managers did not have time to attend to our problems and concerns, and their response always was evasive and disinterested. There was a constant smell of gas due to having the condos gas tank right outside the condo's door. The noise coming from the neighbours at the back can be unbearable, having to listen to their parties at 2am on several occasions. On a more positive note, the condo has a incredibly well stocked kitchen and grill, as well as glassware, and a very nice pool.
