« Accueil un peu froid et sans émotion pas trop accueillant. Un cours sur le sourire ferait du bien à bon nombre de personne. Demi-pension à recommander. Petit déjeuner trop simple pour un hôtel qui se veut un 4 étoile. Emplacement superbe avec vue magnifique. En voiture pas facile d'accès (route très étroites). Chambre spacieuse et très confortable. Malgré le personnel pas toujours sympatique (sauf au souper le soir), nous avons passé un beau séjour »

« This was our second visit. That should tell you something. We again liked the inn with good variety of of breakfast options, room was spacious, plenty of free parking. It was convenient for the attractions we wanted to visit. Dinner, optional extra, is available and very good quality. We would like to visit again. »

« we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. « Super chambre au dessus d’un charmant pub situé au coeur de la petite ville. Facile de se garer, bonne ambiance, très bon petit déjeuner et personnel très sympathique. Seul petit problème; il faisait relativement chaud durant la nuit malgré un petit ventilateur disposé sur le bureau et il n’était pas possible d’ouvrir la fenêtre en raison du bruit des installations sur le toit. « An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months »

« The young girl who was on reception when I arrived on Thursday and on Friday morning was amazing. She was so helpful and went over and beyond what would be expected. She is a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was great and the room was spotlessly clean. I wouldn't hesitate in staying here and will recommend this hotel to others. »
