About The Place

The house was built as a stone building in 1869, in a position to see Talas and Kayseri very well.
There are three large cold caves, one at the ground floor level and two at the lower floor level, and a large well in the garden. It has a large, stepped garden to the side. In the garden, there are also a few caves and arch structures on the walls.
There is a large nailed door at the entrance of the house and one enters the big hall, where all the room doors called "hayat" are opened. This is a completely stone structure and there are four symmetrical stone niches placed in the spaces between the doors. There is a dining room on the right of the entrance and a living room with a fireplace on the left. In addition, from this floor, two symmetrical stone stairs lead up to the roof. Again, from a room where wooden cabinets are available for storing supplies, stairs can be descended to the rooms and caves on the lower floor.
