« This is our second time staying at the Nash Cabin and both times have been perfect for our family. The size of the house is roomy for everyone to spread out and lounge with comfy furniture and a large dining room. The play structure in the backyard was perfect for kids. Beds and comfy, bathrooms are spacious and the kitchen is also perfect for any size meal.The host is communicative and responsive. « We had a wonderful time in this magical cabin. It had everything we needed and all the comforts of home. Check in was seamless and we were even able to check in a little earlier than expected. When we arrived the house was ready and very clean. It was the perfect place to gather as a family and watch the snow fall. Our two dogs were also able to join us which we loved. We will definitely be back. »

« The Creekside Inn is basic, but in Alpine County, if that's where you want to be (and it offers incredible outdoor opportunities and natural beauty year-round!), basic is pretty good. It's quiet, and not at all as pricey as most of the alternatives (of which there are very few). Fabulous restaurant, Stonefly, across the street, is open for dinner Th-Sun. We haven't tried the hotel next door as an alternative for dinner M-W, but that's basically your only option. For decent coffee, there is Mad...
