Beautiful little cabin!

I was visiting to attend a class to assist with teaching at the local community college. Location is great with being near the college, although the drive to location is tight and narrow on the road. Enjoyed winding down with family at the end of the day. The only thing that I have to complain about is taking your own trash to the landfill, I found that stressful with making sure it was taken off and the location employees at the landfill had issues with me dumping trash not being a resident, Thatā€™s not something anyone wants to worry about while on vacation or leaving with trash loaded in a vehicle. That would be the only thing Iā€™d change is garbage situation. Bedroom downstairs is lacking tv and that was different. Great stay and enjoyed the place so much.

Our daughter graduated from WCU, so wanted to spend the weekend. This location was close enough to still have privacy. We had access to restaurants for pick-up orders and a spacious kitchen for cooking. Plus, extended family had plenty of room to stop in for some great family time. This rental had exactly what we were looking for.

Getting to the property is a bit of a challenge, narrow drive up a steep gravel incline. The cabin was awesome, very clean and well furnished. The only thing I would complain about and it's nothing the host can do about it is the loud constant highway noise from the highway below while trying to relax on the front porch

Overall we had a great stay! Kitchen was nicely stocked with what we needed to cook. Beds were comfortable. The house was homey and very quiet and cozy. It felt like a home. We stayed busy checking out the area but when we were at the house it was very relaxing.

The house was exactly as listed and in the pictures. We were delighted when we arrived and saw a little Christmas tree. The decor is an interesting collection of furniture and art and very cozy.

This was the cleanest rental we ever stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and clean. The house was spacious, even the bathrooms. The driveway can be tricky, but so worth it. The property is secluded and has an amazing view. Its convenient to Sylva and WCU. The only con is that they ask you to bring your trash and recycleables to the waste center on 441. Its closed on Sundays, so you'll need to find another dumpster if you check out on a Sunday. We can't wait to return!

I really loved the home. But the notification of ā€œhowā€ vacasa wanted us to leave the home arrived AFTER our departure. Would have been great to know that vacasa wanted us to strip the beds and leave dishwasher running Another problem was the removal of trash. Vacasa should be responsible for that with what was charged. At the minimum I should have been told WHERE I could go to dump trash!!

Disgusted how this was handled with the catastrophic flooding. 30 days to rebook a vacation that was planned a year ago. Numerous owners/agencies immediately refunded peopleā€™s money, but not Vacasa! Absolutely disgusting!

Very Clean, well appointed, appliances worked, bed was comfortable, GPS and directions accurate. Remote, quiet (except for faint traffic noise) lots of birdsongs and Mountain views. Highly recommend it if you desire a quiet getaway. (About 10 miles from downtown Sylva on steep gravel road. I strongly suggest arriving in daylight).

Wonderful cabin! Only thing needed was an outdoor area to keep trash so wildlife couldnā€™t get into it. Only thing to change is the toilet paper, itā€™s rough. We had to buy Charmin. Beautiful cabin, amazing views, great surprise to have board games. We will be back!

Booked to property for its close proximity to Dillsboro and Sylva--the guys were fly fishing and the ladies were shopping and exploring the small towns. The cat museum was a must try, the little shops were filled with beautiful one of a kind items, the restaurants were all very good. The view from the porch was breath taking, the inside of the cabin was clean, neat and tidy. the beds comfortable, kitchen stocked with many needed necessities. Our door area was a bit overgrown, but all natural and pretty. the keypad did not work on arrival but we were able to easily get in with the lock box key after a quick call to customer service. the ride up the mountain was a little scary the first time but got much easier as the days progressed. I highly recommend the cabin and would book it again.

The property was gorgeous.. When we first arrived, the scenery was a sight to truly take in and see. The house looks just as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside! The porch was beautiful. The only problem we encountered during our stay was the outside grill. The grill did not seem to work in any way shape or form. The starter was completely out and there was a lot of leftover dirt and grease left on the grill as well. After trying to cleaned it, we shortly realized that the grill was unfortunately not usable :(. Other than that, i would absolutely recommend anyone to go to this mountain cabin!:)

The cabin was spectacular even though it is hard to find in the dark. Once you get off the highway you make two turns on a paved but narrow road and then you turn right on an unpaved narrow and steep rocky road. Although Ian had hit Fort Myers with devastating effects for many we decided to go ahead with our plan. My husband's blood pressure increased so high by Saturday that we cut our vacation short and returned to Georgia for safety reasons. The cabin was everything we had expected and more. We loved the 3 days we spent there.
