Holiday House Essex - Charming Luxury with Thatched Roof

Welcome to Sylt – let yourself be enchanted by the Frisian charm and the soothing luxury of your thatched-roof holiday home!

Haus Essex is located in the west of Keitum with its historic captain's houses and large tree population. Everywhere in the village, you will come across traces of island history; the historic village center offers plenty to see, shop, and indulge in. Small boutiques and cafes provide a colorful potpourri for browsing, and in the evenings, restaurants and bars offer variety.

Arrive and feel good! This applies to Keitum as well as to Haus Essex – whether you are traveling as a couple, with family, or friends. Pets are also welcome in the spacious half-house with the lush garden.
The holiday home itself welcomes you with a living space of 100 m², offering plenty of space for up to 6 people divided over three floors. Through the spacious hallway, you enter the living area, where the tasteful, cozy furnishings and the spacious lounge area with sofas and armchairs immediately catch your eye. Bright muntin windows open the view to the garden, and the new TV flat screen invites you to relaxed movie nights.

On the other side of the room, the dining area awaits you with padded chairs arranged around a light wooden table. Here, breakfast, tea time, and dinner quickly turn into sociable events. In the adjacent, modern equipped kitchen, you will find everything you need to indulge in culinary delights.

From the living area, a large patio door leads out to the densely overgrown garden surrounded by an extensive Friesenwall – for the perfect balance between privacy and freedom. Relax in the sun lounger, enjoy the evening sun, and breathe in the fresh North Sea air.

A curved staircase leads you to the first floor, which awaits you with two spacious bedrooms with lovingly designed interiors. The modern, bright bathroom offers you all the amenities with its high-quality equipment. The staircase then leads you further to the gable room, where two cozy single beds are ready for a relaxing sleep after an eventful day.

NOTICE (please read!)

To start your vacation feeling right away, a made nest awaits you upon arrival: The beds are freshly made for you, and you'll receive two towels, two bath towels, a bath mat, and a dish towel per person. For this, we charge a fee of 25 euros per person (except for children under 3 years). For good health reasons, the laundry packages are mandatory for your booking.

We also want to inform you: A tourist tax is levied on adult guests on the island of Sylt. We calculate this fee with your booking and directly pass it on to the municipality – your guest cards are available in your vacation home upon arrival. For your booking, we charge a fee of 29 euros.
