Hi Lyndall,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is reviews like yours that allow us to see what we are doing well and where we may have missed the mark. As we operate with a new housekeeping team and a severe shortage on housekeepers feedback like this is incredibly helpful and valuable, rest assured I have passed this onto the proper departments for review. As for the rooms, since we took over the building in August, we are about to undergo major refurbishments. This is a lengthy process, however by the end we will have new beds, artwork, carpets, smart TVs and a fresh lick of paint. The cafe onsite is a privately owned business and rest assured we did inform them immediately of the rat that made its way in from the wet weather. The cafe have assured us that they are taking extra sanitary and pest control precautions, to ensure this doesn't happen again.
