« What a lovely night away. Mark and Karen were brilliant hosts. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need. Great array of drinks and snacks available. Soft towels and comfy beds. Delicious breakfast cooked by Karen. All the ingredients were excellent quality and cooked excellently. A perfect little base for a weekend in Wales. We enjoyed walking Pen Y fan. « It was a lovely stay, just one night before a day at bike park wales. I was told to leave the bike in the hall way and it was fine there. Parking was tight with a bike rack on so i dropped it to get the car over as far as i could. The room was beautifully decorated, bed comfy, shower amazing and the whole place was quiet. »

« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for.
