Forget Me Not Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Beautiful cabin nestled in the trees with gorgeous views of the mountains, 1/2 mile from Kings River access and 31 miles from the Matanuska Glacier Park. Our cabin is located just off the North Glenn Highway 62 miles from Anchorage, Alaska and 15 miles from Palmer, Alaska.

Never got to the property. Unable to pull up specific information and when we seen the worn out cabin it was time to turn around. Road was a gravel road, it had rained and I was in a Mercedes and didnā€™t know where to go or how much mud and gravel we needed to go through. Unfortunately we never got to the actual cabin. Owner was rude when she thought I was asking for refund. I never asked her and chalked it up to bad luck. She did try to reach out the next day to offer us that day but our travel plans did not allow for it. Seems nice in picture but ask her to give very detailed information to travelers. Hell Iā€™m from Alaska and had a hard time finding the place. Would be good to know it is up around the corner from The old looking cabin.

The cabin had plenty of room for 2 and could accommodate more. very clean with a view of the mountains. I would recommend taking the time to make the trip up to hatcher pass and the historic gold mine. There are some trails close by ranging from easy to difficult also.

The cabin has everything that we needed for our stay and was very cute. If you have trouble sleeping with light, I suggest you might want a sleep mask since a large window at the back of the cabin has no covering due to it's shape.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful, clean cabin! The beds were very comfortable and the Alaskan detail and artwork was lovely. The kitchen was very functional and we were able to cook dinner and breakfast with no problems. I would definitely stay there again!

Lovely place to stay with gorgeous views, We saw two moose leave as we came back one evening and there were tracks right in the front of the porch. We came in spring break up time so the lane needed fill at the bottom of the hill instead of a 6" pond.

Very nice new and charming log cabin with a great view. Many nice features such as a heated bathroom floor. Two comfortable beds are located on the upper floor in an open loft. Everything was very clean. Our stay at the cabin was wonderful and we would highly recommend it. However, it is important to mention that if you miss the immediate right turn to the cabin (especially at night) and go straight down the road a ways looking for a place to turn around you come to a drive with signage that is very threatening. Please make a point to take that first right turn down the road with the power lines and you will have a lovely stay!

The beds were terrible. We did not sleep well due to the condition of the beds. Also there were no wash cloths. Other than that the cabin was fine. No curtains downstairs made me a little uncomfortable.

Spacious new cabin sits next to Glen highway, but hide in peaceful trees. It's well equipped, felt like home. variety of videos are provided We enjoy the view of morning fog floating around the mountains in bed. There is a river across the road but we didn't have time to go there. Hope we stayed longer.

Beautiful handcrafted cabin in peaceful location. Very clean with unique handcrafted wood detailsā€¦as well as other handcrafted details throughout (stone trim in bathroom, ā€œwallpaperā€ in kitchen, details on railings). Beds upstairs clean and comfortable. Deck has most wonderful views! Wish we would have stayed more than one night!

Leider haben wir dort nur eine Nacht verbracht. Ein super schƶnes und groƟes Blockhaus abseits der Zivilisation. Wer die absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier bestens untergebracht. Es fehlt an nichts. Grillplatz, modern ausgestattete KĆ¼che sowie sehr bequeme Betten im Obergeschoss. Architektonisch sehr funktional und modern eingerichtet mit Liebe zum Detail. Das nƤchste Restaurant ist allerdings ist 8 km entfernt. Im General Store gibt es sehr leckere Burger.

Beautifully made new construction. Wooded, secluded and pretty quiet. Mountain views off the porch. Some intermittent construction nearby, likely more cabins. Right off main road but a little hard to find with google maps.

Nice cabin for our group of 2 adults with 2 kids. Enough kitchen equipment to cook simple meals. No WiFi but we had cell phone reception there. The cabin is decorated cute with an Alaskan theme. There are nice blinds upstairs in the sleeping area but it still does not get dark in cabin due to Alaska sunlight and big windows in the lower level. Nice outdoor seating area but unfortunately mosquitos were bad when we were there in June.

Beautiful, clean, new cabin, conveniently located for several day trips if desired! Views are perfect! I would recommend to friends traveling! Suggestions-kitchen needs glasses, better cooking utensils (kept falling off handles), more than 1 ice tray, baking or cookie sheet, tv tray tables for dining since there is only 1 stool for eating at counter, blinds for 2 big windows in living room like ones in bedroom for someone who is sleeping on futon, large mirror for bedroom to allow guest to get ready (hair & makeup) while bathroom is being occupied by other guest. I purchased a small pack of washcloths for bathroom. Just some ideas to help with amenities ā˜ŗļø

We only needed a spot to hang out and decompress after a cruise with a spot for napping. Super easy directions to find the location, gorgeous views and beautiful place to walk around.

Cabin was great. Only gripe is poor signage on Glen Hwy made it hard to find the place. Especially on a dark, windy winter night. The house numbers along the way were too small to see very well and made it difficult to tell where we were. Cell phone navigation got us close but didn't give correct directions to driveway. Once we found the driveway, owner's directions were clear and easy to follow.
