trop loin du parc !

La vue depuis les chambre est magnifique et proprio sympa. mais l’hôtel se situe VRAIMENT trop loin de l’entrée du Parc et de la seule rue de Khao Sok ( 15:/20mn en voiture ) Il faut demander au gérant De nous déposer à chaque fois donc nous n’avons aucune autonomie. De plus Le gérant n’a pas whatsapp Donc difficile de le contacter , on a du attendre 40mn pour qu’il viennent nous récupérer après notre treck. Ne propose pas de location de scooter ou vélo .. sa femme ne parle pas anglais et à des difficultés à lire donc attention lors de vos commande à leur restaurant : vous risquez comme nous de recevoir tout le contraire de ce que vous aviez demandé ! pour les petits budgets autant ajouter quelques euros pour être plus près

The property is remote from the village by about 2 km. They overcome this by providing free transport to and from the village in the evening. The food was very tasty and cheap too.

El alojamiento no es en donde dicen. Es mas lejos del parque y lugares para comer. Eso lleva a incomodidades para moverte porque tampoco los taxis te quieren llevar hasta el alojamiento. Tenes q esperar a que sea la hora en que el señor va para la entrada del parque y si querias volver en otro momento tenes que caminar como una hora. En la habitación encontrarás iguanas, y bichos, lo cual es entendible pero igualmente puede no ser para cualquiera. Los anfitriones son amables

Jungle paradise

Beautiful place, peaceful and the staff is amazing! They gave us ride and pick ups, you can have food and drinks at the main building. Fresh air with mountain view, and only jungle around you. Warm shower, clean rooms and just wonderful owners. Totally coming back!

Lovely location just outside of the town. Very quiet and peaceful nights sleep. A bit far from everything if you want to walk to the restaurants but the owner will drive you down in his truck whenever you like! Nice little restaurant on site with reasonably priced food. We took an AC room and didn’t regret it, would recommend it if you have the extra cash. View from the room is beautiful, you can see the mountains in the distance and can hear gibbon calls in the early morning. We took a one day tour to the lake in the National Park organised by the resort. Whilst the tour was ok in itself, we were heartbroken to learn that the lake was artificial, a result of a huge dam being built on the river which had flooded a huge portion of the rainforest. We should have done our research because as our main objective of our stay was to see pristine rainforest, we were seriously disappointed and saddened to see the devastation caused by it. Would instead recommend a hike into the park via the town centre, we had a good day ambling around by ourselves exploring the forest without a guide for only 300 bhat entrance fee. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and can’t fault the owners of the resort one bit! Would stay again!

Kurz gesagt: "Back to the basics" :) :) Unterkunft abgelegen vom ganzen Trubel. Mitten im Duschgel eben :). Die Gastgeber fahren einen jedoch jederzeit kostenfrei wohin man möchte. In 10 minuten bist du quasi zentral bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Bars usw. Natürlich wird man auch wieder abgeholt, um die Uhrzeit die man möchte. Was wahrscheinlich auch gut geht, wenn man sich einen Roller ausleiht. :) So wäre man noch flexibler in khao sok city. Haben wir leider nicht gemacht, aber beim nächsten mal ist das mal eine Überlegung wert. Ausflüge und Weiterreise werden durch die Gastgeber organisiert, wenn man das möchte. Die Gastgeber sind sehr um das wohl ihre Gäste bemüht. Einfach nur super lieb. Wie gesagt, die Unterkunft ist wirklich schlicht, aber das ganze Drumherum machen den Aufenrhalt einzigartig. Alles in allem 5 Sterne. :) :) :) Ich bin nun das 2. Mal da gewesen und werde auch ein weiteres mal dort Urlaub machen. Immer wieder gern:)

comfortable and cozy

Evergreen House was cute and comfortable accommodation, with great staff who were happy to help and loved to speak english with their guests! there is a small restaurant as a part of the reception with many delicious and cheap options and it is a short walk to the main road in town. it was a very peaceful and relaxing stay and i would go back again!

Friendly owners...

Really nice grounds and friendly owners. Food was lovely and well priced. Bungalows were very basic but clean. Unfortunatley a fan just wasn't enough for us. Although it was a pleasant temp on an evening, it was so humid that our clothes and backpacks ended up damp. Towels provided smelt fusty. If you can afford the extra for air con i would recommend. We booked the river canoeing and the Lake day trip with the hotel which was the same price as tour operators. We thought it could have been slightly discounted for guests, however both were well organised. Transfer to airport was significantly cheaper elsewhere so check this out before booking. Nice pet dogs on site and the owner kindly picked us up from the bus stop for free. Would recommend this place.

Consider this one if you like the outdoors

The location is amazing and each room is its own private cabin. Our room had no ac but did have two fans, and mosquito netting for the beds. The bathroom wall is open to outside in some places so ours had a few small snails kicking around which was kind of cool. The hotel owners offer meals and park outings in the middle of the complex. Food is outstanding. The Khao Sok tours are expensive, but the single day package we got was well worth it.

Difficult people, nice lodging

When I got off my bus at Khao Sok, a group of men quickly tried to shuffle me into a taxi. As a Western woman traveling alone, this will obviously not fly without some kind of verification from the driver or advanced notice from the hotel owner. It wasn't extremely stressful and the owner was less than gracious, showed up at the road yelling at me rather than showing professionalism. Room was good but I avoided the staff.
