Family Weekend

Our 4 year old granddaughter burnt her fingers on water coming out of the hot water tank in the 3rd bedroom - Please put a lock on that door. A dirty nappy was found on arrival in the main bathroom. Pillows had not been put in their cases. Overall we had a great time in units 6 and 10 and loved the proximity of beach and stores, and the very clean pool area. We had a great family weekend.

Reasonably roomy 3 bedroom unit. Reasonably clean. Furniture and fittings are quite old but still serviceable. The beds were hard. Some of the towels were quite threadbare. There were ceiling fans but no air conditioning. Aircon would be good to have in summer when it is really hot. The pool area and barbecue area were good. The lawn was green and gardens tidy. The garages were quite narrow but each unit had a separate locked garage which was good. Shops and takeaways are within walking distance. We had a pleasant stay.

Golden Beach weekend

We had a long family weekend here, the hotel was clean and functional and just across the road was a great park, play equipment, jetty and a clean sandy beach. Good for kayaking over to sandbanks for fishing and crabbing too.

Convenient

Close to beach, shops, etc. Secure parking was a pleasing surprise. Plenty of space inside of apartment. Certainly recommend for families with convenience of pool, separate, bedrooms, across the road from inlet for fishing.

Happy on the esplanade!

The location was great and it was nice and quiet. The apartment was spacious and clean and had all the kitchen gear you would need for cooking. One of the single beds wasn't too comfy but o we all we were happy! Staff were helpful and friendly. We'd definitely stay there again!

Great location

Fantastic place to stay so close to everything, within walking distance to shop and being right on the esplanade the beach was straight across the road.

Nice place if you can get in the front door.

Unnerving to arrive and find door locked, the intercom going to messagebank and the 2 mobile numbers also going to message. Ended up waiting 15 minutes then banged on door until someone came and showed us to our unit. Unit was very nice and clean with everything we needed across from golden beach and beautiful park. 100 metres to shops and takeaways. Staff were friendly helpful and trusting but just were not available when booking in at 3.30pm or leaving at 8.45am which was an unecessary stress for us. We still enjoyed our stay and were comfortable.

Surprisingly spacious

Good sized apartment with plenty of room for the kids. Nice to have an undercover garage almost directly below apartment. - quick and easy to unpack. Great value apartment

Balcony was a good size facing beach but unable to see beach because of trees .No air conditioning.

No air conditioning!

Really enjoyed our stay, only negative thing I have to say would be that there was no air conditioner in the appartments (only ceiling fans). It was quite muggy the week we were there and we struggled to get to sleep.

nice position

I am not fussy with my accommodation, the room itself was fine but carting your luggage up 100 steps to then find there is no airconditioning to cool you off was a bit disappointing.

There was only 2 things that I would have like in the motel 1. air con & 2. The spa bath in the main bathroom didnt work.

opposite the beach, spacious apartment

Golden Beach and playground are across the road. We stayed in apartment 10 which was 3 bdrm & ensuite and very spacious for 6 of us. Owners were friendly and helpful. Had free kayaks available to use. Pool and spa were sheltered in the morning, and great setting, incl 2 bbqs. While apartments don't have aircon, we didn't find it a problem, as there was a good breeze and fans throughout. Convenience stores and takeaways/restaurants within easy walking distance. Or quick drive to maccas and Coles. Own locked garage. Can't wait to go back!
