« My family loved staying at the historic Barney Home. The location is great for visiting Rapid City, the Black Hills and the Badlands. The listing is accurate and the home was clean and well maintained. Water pressure was good, beds are firm, the off street parking is excellent and we loved having the backyard and fenced patio to enjoy at the end of a busy day. « This was such a nice place. We really felt at home. All the amenities that you wanted. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had everything you needed. « Our second time here and always clean and well maintained. Could use a few new light bulbs, but otherwise great! Lots of room and good location. The driveway is definitely steep, but it’s doable as long as your car isn’t really low. »

« We stayed at this home over Labor Day weekend to visit family in the area. This place was very clean, spacious and so comfortable for all. The location is now my favorite place in the Black Hill. Just beautiful! So relaxing to wake up every morning to the peaceful sound of the Rapid Creek just steps from the back door. We will definitely be staying here again. »

« We had an impromptu Labor Day family trip. Scott was so accommodating and helped us with all our questions. The deck was amazing to make smores and there is a massive lawn played games on and even an outdoor batting cage which was a "hit".
