Le charmant Palm Cottage est situĂ© au centre de Summerland en Californie. Facile Ă  marcher jusqu'Ă  la plage, dĂźner ou faire du shopping. 1 chambre et petit salon et kitchenette avec rĂ©frigĂ©rateur et cuisiniĂšre, (2 personnes MAX). Le maĂźtre a la reine avec une vue sur le jardin tropical. Planchers de bois franc et carrelage. Casa Tropical dispose de 2 kayaks disponibles. Il y a une cour arriĂšre clĂŽturĂ©e parfaite pour votre chien. Ceci est un duplex de chalet de plage historique pour des vacances parfaites prĂšs de la plage dans un coffre-fort. Faire du shopping et se dĂ©tendre sur l'avenue Lillie est votre activitĂ© idĂ©ale, puis vous dĂ©tendre dans votre cour privĂ©e. La porte du clavier privĂ© sort pour votre propre entrĂ©e. Notre unitĂ© au rez-de-chaussĂ©e est complĂštement Ă  un niveau lui-mĂȘme avec sa propre entrĂ©e. Il a une entrĂ©e privĂ©e qui est facile Ă  pied de plusieurs endroits, y compris les antiquitĂ©s, les magasins, le dĂźner et la plage. C'est chalet-y pas condo-y. Un endroit idĂ©al pour se retirer de la plage ou des activitĂ©s de la rĂ©gion. Il y a aussi un immense dressing!

Summerland chill

Great garden, comfortable home and easy location

To begin, Leslie is great and made the check in easy and we felt very welcomed. The garden is really great, we spent some time reading, eating and relaxing there. It was very easy to get to the beach and to move to other areas around, even if summerland is such a small area. The apartment is simple, we didn't cook but it seemed to have enough kitchen gear to do the necessary even though it didn't have any oil/spices and some other things that would be nice. The only down of the place is the road noise, unfortunately it is non stop.

Quaint beach cottage

This is a quaint little cottage on the main drag in Summerland. It is private although you will hear street noise. That did not bother us. You can walk to the local restaurants and farm stand the owner has across the street. It's 10 minutes from Carpenteria which has grocery stores and more local restaurants. The pictures are fairly accurate - it's a little more worn for the wear than the photos suggest but not that bad. It's well equipped for making breakfast and lunch. The deck has lots of space and is nice for relaxing. It's just right for 2 people but not more. We would stay here again!

Charming cottage and beautiful garden

We had a lovely 12 days in this beautiful cottage in Summerland. The garden is as beautiful as it shows online. The bed is super comfortable! And we found the kitchen and furnishings charming and just to our taste. Leslie the owner is wonderful and gets right back with every need. . It’s small and that suits us. We felt totally private in the cottage. Every single thing in this cottage is well considered and beautifully placed. Everything in this area has some road noise from Highway 101 so that’s a good thing to be aware of. It didn’t bother us and we quickly adjusted and fully enjoyed the beauty of the garden. we never watched TV so cannot comment on that. A really lovely stay!

Heaven in Summerland

Great place and a great location. It is only for two people and my wife and I enjoyed it immensely. Restaurants are very close and every thing is in walking distance. However, you can drive into Santa Barbara if you want. Also a great place to take off on your bike if you would like to do that, also.

Can we move here?

We loved our stay. The town is charming and has lots of character. The fruit stand across the street is delicious and added to the small town feel of our stay. Conveniently located between Santa Barbara and Ventura, but nestled away from the crowds.

Quaint cottage/Excellent location.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay. The host, Leslie, is a superb communicator and very helpful i.e. restaurants and locations to visit. The cottage is conveniently located near walkable shops, restaurants and the beach. It is clean and the bed is comfortable. The patio garden is peaceful and private. We enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely return.

Great for one person

The garden was spacious, the apartment clean and bright. But too small for two elders. The highway traffic and Amtrak train noises were cumbersome, otherwise it's a great place, for one.

Great stay in Summerland

We loved this place in Summerland. The garden area was as advertised, and made for a very pleasant office away from home. We were a close walk to a nice beach and a short drive to downtown Santa Barbara. Plenty of shopping close by, including a great wine tasting room next door. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Not As Expected

Awkward layout and very small rooms; no cross ventilation; no temperature control; extremely low ceilings; awkward and extremely small bathroom; no exhaust hood in Kitchen and oven door does not close; no fire and smoke safety devices; no cable TV--poor working Netflix only, no other channels. The garden/patio was very nice. The Owner was very friendly and informative.

Wonderful stay

This was a lovely, relaxing stay in a tranquil spot. The garden/patio area, particularly, was a real delight. The property was pet friendly and my small dog loved it (and its proximity to a great dog beach). Very highly recommended.

Wonderful retreat

Leslie was a gracious host and made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout our entire stay. The location was wonderful and we enjoyed the enclosed patio many times during the week. Close enough for quick trips to monticeto, Santa Barbara and los olivos.

Summerland was just amazing, some of the most friendly people we had the pleasure meeting.. The Nugget, and the cafe we visited most. If you never wanted to get in your car, it had everything you needed

Fabulous cottage!

Absolutely beautiful cottage, in a wonderful location. It Has everything you could possibly need, plenty of space, immaculately clean. A real home from home. Plenty of bars, restaurants and activities nearby. And the garden is spectacular! Leslie is the perfect host. as a woman travelling alone I felt very secure within the property as it’s so private. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay

Location was great but the place does need some work. There was a leak in the kitchen and bathroom during heavy rains. Issue with front door shutting and there was a broken light just laying there when walked in front gate. Also the tile in the bathroom is in really bad shape. Owner was very responsive and the garden is beautiful.

Charming cottage and in peaceful Summerland

The cottage is lovely and the garden is so peaceful. You are right in downtown Summerland and an easy drive into Santa Barbara, Montecito, Ojai and Ventura. It was a lovely place to return to at the end of the day.
