The hotel was very clean and the employees were very friendly. Cons were the extremely overpowering smell of cleaning chemicals. It smelled like they had bombed the room it was so strong. The room faced the hwy so you hear all the traffic noise and they used the dryers until really late, past 11 so it was hard to fall asleep.

Hotel old with some renovation. Next door restaurant very good. Because of restrictive room policy as a result of booking with Hotels.com we had to stay in room facing freeway. Noisy.

The woman at the desk didn’t speak during at least half the check in process which took too long. Finally, she said she was tired. It had been a long day. I would not want her working for me or my company.

Check in was a breeze, the room was clean and i thought the bed was very comfortable. I personally liked the step in shower. Convenient to the interstate and lots of places to eat in the area. Kathleen the Manager went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable!!!

Staff was very helpful and room was clean. There was a stain on the comforter that detracted from the room. Also, I’m used to seeing a sign near elevators and back of doors that show where the stairs are located. That was not posted near the elevator. Also, as we were loading the elevator, I put my hand across/out the door to keep it open for the kids to load, but it still proceeded to close. A worker in the elevator with us that mentioned it does that sometimes, so probably should have the sensor checked before an accident happens.

The property was under construction so hopefully the next time we visit it will be completed. Hampton Inns are our preference due to cleanliness and the comfort.
