« They didn’t go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I know that many places have a binder of things to do nearby and instructions for prepping to leave. Some places also give a bottle of wine or cookies as a welcome gift. This place had a poorly flushing toilet and the flooring was in rough shape. Some planks need to be replaced because you’ll get your sock caught in one. There wasn’t any dish soap. It was very meh but it seemed clean and was a cheap place to crash for the night. »

« We were promised internet/wifi and it didn’t work the entire trip. Contacted the property and she said it was but it wasn’t working until the day we checked out. The beds are IKEA very cheap. Clean but cheap. The couch wasn’t comfortable at all. The TV didn’t have an outlet to plug into or an extension cord to reach to another plug. Finally found an extension coming from the side of the refrigerator on the other side of the wall but had to move the tv over to reach. Once turned on, we were back...

« We had a great stay. The place was located in a good area convenient to metro. We utilized both the metro and uber. There was a grocery store about 15 minute walk away. The house was clean. There were pots, dishes and dishwasher which came in handy with kids. Overall great little vacation. We hope to stay here again in the future!! »

« We stayed for 5 days as a fam of 4. House is newly updated and well equipped. Neighborhood definitely going through redevelopment but we always felt safe. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts super responsive. »

« Great place to stay for our visit to DC. The house was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. It’s located a simple 15-20 min walk from the No-Ma Gallaudet metro station and also near Union station. Trader Joe’s was a 10-15 min walk away, which made picking up some groceries easy.Owners were helpful and quick to respond before our stay and during our stay.It was a great stay! »

« The hosts was very attentative was at communcating. The listing was as advertised. Very clean . I ask to check in early and the host was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again. »

« The room is large, the kitchen is fully equipped, there is a washing machine, and a dryer. There is a black university campus nearby, and it is a bit far away from the main tourist attractions. »

« Extremely clean and cozy.. I couldnt get over the gorgeous high ceilings in the living room... fully stocked kitchen.. overall wonderful! »

« I booked a week before I needed the place. I was unable to get any form of response from this host, and the phone number was disconnected. Beware of that when dealing with this host, as something might happen when they’re just dropping off the face of earth. This situation canceled the day I was supposed to check in, and cost me $150 extra as I took my money to a competitor. »

« Location was perfect for our quick college visit to Howard University. Walkable to Whole Foods and places to eat. Host was extremely accommodating and quick with responding. Check in instructions were clear and we had no issues. We would definitely book again if our student decides to go to Howard University next year! »

« A friend and I spent five nights at Sojourn and it was a delight. Before we arrived, the owners were responsive to our emails clarifying the lodging. Check in was easy and the apartment was clean and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need for cooking-not always something at other apartments I have stayed at. Bedrooms and beds were comfortable and bathroom had ample good linens as well as shampoo and lotion. We would stay there again. »

« This was a great space to stay. Enjoyed the balcony, plenty of space, nice amenities in the space. A few random things needed attention, like the hand towel rack infalling off the wall. But i get a short term rental will have these things and sometimes a chaos gremlin stays in the place. Overall, wonderful place. Good location. »

« The unit is very conveniently located in Chinatown, next to a Metro stop, and 15 minute walk to the Mall. A great place to stay for a sightseeing stay. It is roomy enough for two people but not more. The sofa bed is basically a large foam mattress on the floor, but comfy. The ice maker was broken and the remote for the TV died, and there were no spare batteries. Our main complaint is that while we were on our way, we got an email saying that the lockbox was broken and we had to go to a location...

« This was one of our favorite short-term rentals to date. The location was great and the host Anthony was terrific. Most importantly, the condo was very clean and well-appointed with designer touches. We really appreciated the fast wifi, coffee maker (and coffee beans), and bags of ice in the freezer. The bird-themed decor and furniture was designer-level. There was also ample outdoor space with two balconies and a rooftop patio! Highly recommended. »

"Étant donné que notre camion F-150 ne pouvait pas être stationné dans le stationnement de l'hôtel, le personnel s'est chargé de nous laisser une place gratuitement devant l'hôtel. Nous avons grandement apprécié ce service. Mention au valet de l'hôtel (Nous n'avons pas son nom) pour son excellent service!"
