« Everything was great except for my check in. The guy at the counter, Dillan, set me up on the 6th floor near the elevators (605). I explicitly voiced my concern about elevator noise, which he dismissed outright. Turns out I was not able to get the rest I needed due to the elevator noise as well as other mechanical noises coming from the roof. Very disappointing. « The laffyette was a wonderful hotel. Clean, cozy and old fashioned yet with conveniences you would expect: great restaurants , coffee shop and roof top deck. Also its said to have friendly ghosts, however we did not experience any. »
