« My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Topeka, from the moment we arrived. We were impressed with the staff and how they made thing so welcoming, they were professional and extremely helpful. I loved that this hotel was close to restaurants, shopping and local attractions. »

« The staff was excellent! The room smelled musty and the peeling paint and wallpaper appeared to be moldy in the bathroom! We had a standard room and the toilet was the height of a toddler daycare toilet! It was ridiculous! Discovered how dirty the room was when I wiped a dry spill on the carpet with a tissue and it was black with dirt! Breakfast was decent and the server was generous with portions »

Oatmeal was poorly cooked and unexplainably expensive. Shower, on the other hand, was outstanding, but hallway inside room is too narrow to bring the luggage cart in. Also lighting in bathroom and sleep area is very weak and not useful. »

« The local was good other than that the bathroom floor in the room was falling apart. The room had flys pool and workout room was closed coffee was cold and was going to take a hour to get fresh. »

« Normally we can make do wherever! We travel alot and have stayed in the best and camped out in the worst. This was among the worst. It has a very dirty feel. It smells...dirty. The people staying there, lives there and that usually tells the story. I wouldn't stay again. Ever. The gal who checked us in couldnt see! She had lost her hlasses- bless her heart. But she was 2 inches away from the screen and the the keyboard. It took a very long time to check in. Just dont stay »

« Very strange bathroom. Sink in the room, closet type area for toilet and shower. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was limited. Staff was very nice and friendly. »

« The sofa bed in our room was broken. The whole frame was bent at the bottom so my kids kept sliding off overnight. breakfast was cold, all of it. We got there right when they opened it. We got a good nights sleep for cheap and that’s why we booked the hotel so none of that was a huge issue. The air conditioning worked, the pool is heated, the staff is friendly. The place needs a little makeover but we got what we paid for minus the bed the kids couldn’t sleep in. »

« I don't understand the average review rate... My room was strongly smelling cigarette even if it is supposed to be non-smoking room and it was not that clean. At the breakfast there were no more eggs and regular coffee. The only employee I saw seemed too busy to take care of all these details. The AC was so so. I understand it's under renovations but they don't even seem to try to make up for that. On the positive side it was quiet until about 7:30 when the construction workers started. ...
