« I researched most of the hotels in Red Wing. This looked like the best option. I was very satisfied with the room, staff, and the breakfast options. We did not use the pool and did not intend to. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. »

« The rooms here are nice sized but in need of a refresh. A beautiful historic hotel in the center of Red Wing, with easy access to everything and ample parking. But, the rooms need modernization; they are a bit sparse. There is a Keurig and an alarm clock and a smallish TV. But they just feel a bit empty and simple. « The hotel smelled as soon as we walked in. A musty smell. Our room was no better but a different smell. Turns out there were 2 pine tree air fresheners in the air conditioner. The kind you put in your car. No coffee maker or hair dryer in the room. We had the room booked for 4 nights but came home after 2. The staff was fine but most had been there for a very short time so that didn’t help. Never staying there again or at any Super 8 if there is more than 1. »
