« The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them! »

« We comprised a group of 6 adults and 3 young children and this house was ideal. It has lots of space, big common areas and a fabulous kitchen for cooking in. The children loved the fact that there are two staircases! The bedrooms are plentiful and comfortable with nice bedding. There are plenty of bathrooms too. The house is tastefully decorated and furnished.Our vacation was in February 2025 so not great weather but that didn't spoil our trip; there are plenty of nearby activities. ...

« This is the most interesting location we have stayed due to the age of the home and amount of property. It was like stepping back in time with modern amenities. We used this as our home base to visit Stirling, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. It worked out well. If looking to get away from the business and noise of the city, it would be a good spot to relax and enjoy the property. »

« Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le gßte est magnifique, trÚs bien situé pour découvrir la région du Loch Lomond . Les propriétaires sont trÚs accueillants et se sont rendus trÚs disponibles pour nous donner toutes les indications. Le gßte est excellemment bien équipé, on se croirait à la maison.... Nous avons également trÚs apprécié le panier d'accueil . C'est un hébergement fortement recommandé et si nous en avons l'occasion nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner. »

« What a lovely cottage! It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beautiful, quiet setting near Stirling. We explored the jail and the castle. Took the train to Edinburgh (not a lot of parking at the station). Drove to the ferry to Isle of Arran (take your car if you can). This cottage is in a great location for touring the Edinburgh/Glasgow area. »

« Property is very well kept and comfortable. Met Rosie and Dave as soon as we arrived and they gave us a quick tour of the property. The road leading in is a farm track but is very clearly identified and Rosie made sure to provide excellent instructions, as long as you stick to one side or the other it is easy to avoid bottoming the vehicle.
