Best friends thanksgiving trip
Great location! Spacious apartment with no neighbors to worry about. Great balcony deck and numerous dolphin sightings in the intercoastal! Perfect jumping off point for enjoying the area. 2 minute walk across the street to the beach or next door for drinks at caddy’s!

Perfect location and beautiful property
This was a wonderful stay and we’d 100% stay again. Total blast being above the rental shop and loved having a restaurant next door. Clean, comfy, loved it! Only feedback was that the provided lawn chairs, umbrella and beach cart were either missing, broken, or rusted through, and our only plans were to sit on the beach. We couldn’t reach the host via the app, and we were told they couldn’t help us over the phone since not an emergency and it was a holiday weekend. But after multiple attempts reached the property management company via email and they were quick to respond once we sent a photo of what we found for equipment and they were very apologetic. We had chairs within 20 mins of them seeing my email. Great stay tho and will totally stay again!

Beautiful property at great location
The pictures of this place do not do it justice! It was so much better than I expected. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is beautiful! So comfortable inside and so many evenings spent on the patio enjoying the view. We had a small request after we arrived and it was immediately taken care of. Great communication throughout our stay and beforehand. The guys working downstairs were very helpful and friendly as well. It was a short walk across the street to the beach and also right next to Caddy's for some drinks and delicious fish tacos. Will definitely stay here again!!

Secretly -perfect get away!
Our week was incredible from beginning to end! The boat house was a hidden gem! The pictures were on point but we were still surprised at how spacious & clean & well done this condo is! 10 out of 10 in every category!

Great location, Amazing View!
Caddy’s Boathouse is a wonderful place to stay! Spacious & clean apartment with all the amenities. It’s located right above Island Marine Rentals, where we also rented a pontoon for the day. Everyone who works there is friendly and welcoming. Perfectly located from everything! Super comfortable beds and a breathtaking view of the intercostal waterways from the balcony! Highly recommend:)

Family getaway

Caddy's Boat House
We enjoyed our stay at Caddy's Boat House, was the perfect size for us, and appreciated the beach toys for our granddaughter to use while visiting the local beach. We basically had everything we needed to be comfortable during our visit. Thank you!

Long weekend getaway before school starts
The location was great! Enjoyed the view of the boats and water from the huge balcony. The walk to the beach was not bad. The kitchen was great.. there were a few little things that should be addressed but we plan on going back for sure.. We had dinner at Villa Gallace which was AMAZING!

Gorgeous
We absolutely loved our stay at the Boat House. The views were great and it was very quiet. A short walk across the street to the ocean. Many local restaurants, shops, and other things to do. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the Boat House.

Spacious Getaway
The unit was very spacious, great AC for FL heat. The deck overlooks the waterway which was great for boat watching. We saw dolphins 2 days. The unit is upstairs on top of a boat rentals establishment. We had to put up with banging 1 morning & 1 evening while boat repair was taking place. (that was a bummer), otherwise it's quiet and peaceful. If your are planning to eat in note that the pots are limited. (skillet for scrambling eggs was dated and could use a new one). Face towels are limited so bring your own. It's was great that there is a washer & dryer in the unit. Bring extra toilet paper as only 2 rolls per bath is provided. Overall, we wound definitely stay there again.

This place was perfect for our mini stay!
The house was the perfect size, very comfortable. The patio area is fantastic! All around great location close to everything. Caddy’s restaurant next door has outside seating where we are able to see dolphins swimming, decent food & good drinks. The beach is a 3 minute walk across the street and is so beautiful. Literally the downstairs area has boat rentals and scooters (which are lots of fun themselves) the property manager was easy to get ahold of and very nice when I spoke with them on the phone. We loved our stay here!

Intercostal Paradise
The 6 day stay we had was wonderful, minus the road travel from NJ, the VRBO has an excellent view of the intercostal waterway, seeing dolphins and manatees often. The staff downstairs at the boat rental office are great and offered much advice. Thanks for a great vacation!!

Sunrise, Sunset
This is our second visit and some of our highlights are the same: We enjoyed watching a beautiful sunrise from the deck and lounging in a comfortable and bright home. It was great to have a full kitchen, since we like to cook. It was pleasant watching the boats, dolphins and other sea creatures like a manatee from the deck. We especially looked forward to our easy nightly excursion to the beach for a sunset swim!

Great Stay!

Great place to stay
This was our 2nd time staying at this place. This time we brought our kids along. There was some small changes from the last time we stayed 2 years ago that was nice to see. Great location, beautiful view out the back. We would stay again. The checkout list on the fridge is slightly different than the one they send out in email and it made it a bit confusing on what we were supposed to do. We didn’t receive the email checkout till after we left so we followed the one on the fridge. It would be nice to see those two list be the same to advoid any confusion. Example one said set temp to 75 and the other set set to 78. One said start dishwasher and other said put all dishes away.

Very nice!
Wasn’t exactly sure what to expect once we saw the rickety wooden walkway and stairs but was pleasantly surprised at how nice the inside was. Loved the deck/porch. We stayed out on it for the majority of the time.

Amazing
The management company is top notch. Quick response time, friendly and informative. Do not let the outside appearance deceive you. The unit is a beautiful 2/2 with full size kitchen, living room and full outside porch that faces the intracoastal waterway. The main bedroom has sliding doors that open to the porch as well as from the LR. The staff at the boat rental place beneath the unit are wonderful. The bonus is Caddy’s restaurant and bar just one building over. We had great food, drinks and service. You can sit and relax on the porch and listen to the music. When you are inside, you cannot hear it. The only con to us was the couch. Not comfortable to sit and relax. I would suggest it be replaced soon. Otherwise, truly amazing place. Thanks to Claudia and the owners. We will definitely be back soon.

A Great Winter Getaway!
I have admit that at first we were wondering a bit as the steps and the deck below our rental seemed a bit on the rough side, but we just had the best time!. All the furnishings are new, the condo is very spacious, and we loved hanging out on the balcony overlooking the boat rental and the intracoastal waterway. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk away, and a very nice restaurant is on the other side of the parking lot. We highly recommend this rental - makes for a wonderful Florida getaway!

Rooms with a view
The property had a nice view of the canal and sunrise in the morning. Rooms are spacious. It’s over a boat rental business so that was different if it had been a busy time it might’ve been a problem. It’s not on the beach but not too far. Very outdated and furnishings are tired plus the cleaning job was lacking. The price for what it is was good. Watched dolphins in the canal in the mornings!

Caddy’s boat house review
Overall, very nice living space, spacious and nicely decorated and equipped. Good value for the money. We had some trouble with the tv in the master bedroom the last 2 nights. Wouldn’t go to the guide or change channels. … The outside property needs Rlck but inside it was very good.

Spacious & Beautiful View.
Property is as shown w/different gray upholstered couch. Pros: The rental is very spacious, well-appointed, comfortable beds; everything you could need. We loved the furnishings/ added decor touches, and large bedrooms w/storage everywhere. We especially loved the large back porch & beautiful intercoastal view. There is a close-by restaurant right on the intercoastal near the unit although it was too cold to sit outside. It was 35 degrees the first night and warmed up by the time we were leaving. Who knew it would be the coldest few days of the year in Florida!? The porch view is relaxing, breathtaking & focal point to the living room & master bedroom. Lots of light, which we love. We would have loved to rent a boat, canoe, motorbike, or regular bike(s) below the unit, but again too cold outside. It started to get busier the day we were leaving. The unit is private/quiet - just a little traffic noise in the 2nd bedroom from cars going by on Gulf Blvd. Cons: The long stairs aren't the best for "little" dogs and w/rocks everywhere outside. But doable with longer walks & carrying the dog on way up. Larger dogs would not have a problem. The heater didn't work the first night so we were in 45-degree temp in the unit. Probably shocked the system as it still blew cold air when we switched to heat on. The unit was about 40 degrees when we arrived at 7 PM. Coldest night of the year. The stove did help. Eventually, the heat kicked in 2nd day in the afternoon. We did receive a quick response for the desire to check/fix. Not the best cleaning, but maybe the unused heater blew in all the dust and it settled. It was very noticeable in the light as it was a layer of dust on every hard service in every room. The floors, kitchen, and bathrooms looked/smelled clean. But to miss dusting, I'd change the cleaning person/crew. The pressure in the second bathroom toilet & sink was very low, but we just plunged the toilet when needed. All worked itself out. Loved the shower pressure in both bathrooms! While TV in each room, no smart TV's so you can only view regular channels w/commercials & On Demand. (No apps or Chromecast but if warmer, we would have spent more time outside & away from the unit anyway.) We would return & rent outside of the winter months. It's a nice place, nice view, is spacious, & in a great locale. Just a few things need attention to give it a 5-star. A+ for customer service.

Great place for a get-away.
Four older adults and our dog. We stayed five nights and had a fabulous time! There isn't a comfortable place to sit but the beds were very comfortable. It is right on the water and we enjoyed the boats and the wildlife. Easy walk to the beach entrance but we drove due to our age....our choice. This is a whole apartment and includes a gas grill and plenty of room. We chose to cook some of our meals. If you choose to cook, bring your own skillets. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Wonderful stay at Caddy’s Boathouse
My husband and I were originally scheduled to stay the week during when hurricane Ian hit. We contacted the host hoping we would be able to change the dates of our stay. We got a quick response that our new days we’re granted. We had previously stayed here a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with the place and the area. The neighborhood is mostly residential and very tranquil but there are many restaurants and shops within a short distance. So you are never far away from the action. The beach is just a short walk across the street and the beach never seemed to be crowded. The Boat House itself has a wonderful balcony to sit and relax after getting back from a long day day at the beach. We never get tired of the view of the bay from the balcony…whether it be the birds flying by, pelicans diving in for a fish, fishing boats catching fish or the occasional dolphins swimming by. The place itself is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, utensils, pots and pans. Both bathrooms are equipped with a shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower. The bed was comfortable. Having back problems I tend to have problems sleeping on some beds. Needless to say, we both slept very well during our stay. We had a great stay the first time we stayed here and once again we had another wonderful stay at the Boat House. We always look forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay at this place. Very spacious, large rooms, and easy access to restaurants and other activities. Beds were comfy. Parking was tricky at times, but it worked. We loved being next door to Caddy’s, they have great atmosphere and food, and then we could go back and sit on our top patio and listen to the live music from the property! Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Caddy’s Boat house. The 2 bedroom condo was perfect for our 4 person family. Beds were comfy and living room and kitchen was spacious. It was ok
There were a few issues first being it wasn’t a boat house but an apartment above a boat rental business. It was clean but there was a ant problem in the kitchen luckily it was isolated to just the kitchen. The bathtub broke on day one so we were not able to give our kids baths all week but there is a second bathroom with a shower so it was not the end of the world. The air conditioning system couldn’t keep up with Florida heat and humidity it wasn’t unbearable but was slightly uncomfortable for me as I am hot natured 74 at night was about as cool as it would get and the master bedroom is the hottest of all rooms in the house so I had to sleep in the other room. It was about 80 during the day I replaced the air filter for the indoor unit that was filthy which helped the air flow a lot but the air just wasn’t cool enough so we stayed gone a lot through the days. The grill outside was nice there were some beach toys and a cart to help with walks to the beach that was helpful. A nice patio with a good view. House was decent and clean plenty of room for me the wife our 2 daughters 6-7 and our dog. I was expecting it to be a little better for 2k over 6 days. While I would have liked it to be a little better overall we had a good vacation. I am supposed to be getting reimbursed for a few nights for the issue with the bath tub and loosing the water until they could repair it, that would go a long way towards me revisiting this property next year if they fixed the ants and ac. The house is in a very nice location I think. Hope this helps.

Great stay by the beach!
Very clean, quiet, and easy to commute to nearby shops/restaurants. The owners of the boat rental were very kind and helpful as well! Definitely recommend!

Perfect relaxing stay
Me and my bestie had a perfect relaxing weekend. The rental was very spacious and had everything we needed. The only issue I encountered was not getting the TV to work in the main bedroom. The back deck was wonderful for eating or just relaxing.

Family Time
We enjoyed this property. The convenience was good. We enjoyed the large balcony for sunrise and had dinner a few times. Public beach is a little walk but easy. The gentleman working below with the boat rentals was very helpful with our basic questions. The live music being played at the restaurant was very nice. Not to loud but just right for our stay. Would definitely not mind staying here again.

Difficult to find, but perfect once we got there
Arrived at night and the directions were not clear where to stay (other condos in the same parking lot/address). Called the office number and they were able to help us find the right location. Very secluded, private area. The lanai was perfect, overlooking the inter coastal waterway. Very spacious, safe location.
