« Charming comfortable house with good views. Good mattresses, very clean everywhere. Lorraine, who looks after the house couldn’t have been kinder. 2 minute walk from the harbour which is wonderful. Lovely shops with sociable staff (Moore’s and the newsagents very handy for a range of fruit, veg etc etc). Only downsides for us (with 92 year old mum) was that stairs to lower ground floor are steep and narrow. Also we had trouble regulating the hi tech radiators, to reduce the temperature. This...

« What a beautiful place to be for our wedding weekend. I've walked past this gorgeous home a lot over the last 11 years, and have dreamed of staying there. And this was the perfect opportunity. Lots of space and light, with a fabulously romantic feel. « Such a peaceful spot. We had breakfast outside each morning while listening to the birds and then spotted constellations in the properly dark night sky. The cottage was well equipped with lots of quirky details, just as the name suggests and the location was perfect for us - handy for visiting family. The welcome was really warm, too. It would be lovely to return one day. »

« We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage, and it was everything we wanted. It's away from everything, but only a short journey to Perranporth, and the location is ideal for exploring Cornwall. it was a home from home, and Sue was great .. she was there as soon as we arrived to show us around, and just a message away if we needed anything. We would highly recommend a stay here if you like to 'get away from it all's, but also want to explore what's around. We will definitely be back ! »

« The cottage is excellent, clean, convenient and has everything you will need. Penryn is quiet, so it’s a trip in to Truro or Falmouth for entertainment, but the buses are excellent. A great place to stay and explore Cornwall. »

« Carole was wonderful and met us at the door to explain everything. House is lovely and everything is provided. We had a little welcome package too which was very much appreciated. Charlestown is close to lots of lovely places to visit including the Lost gardens of Heligan, the Eden project and St Austells brewery. There are also lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants close by. Highly recommended. »

« The cottage absolutely delivered! The cottage and the grounds are immaculately kept. If you're looking for an inviting base of operations for your time in west Cornwall, you'll be hard-pressed to find better. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, and some of our best evenings were spent just enjoying the silence after a long day of adventures. »

Tous ces choses ne son pas vallable pour un hotel
"Le personel était formdiable! Par contre dans la cuissine il y a quelquechose qui ne marche pas. Il a fallut attendre après avoir commandé beaucoup trop longemps! On se trouvait dans une salle d'attente!!! La salle de bain était une catastrophe. Le sol était sale. À gauge du lavabo le truc pour pendre la serviette était défectueux et la lunette était aussi défectueux et la douche n'était pas acceptable."
