Welcome to Driftwood Dunes — your oceanfront escape in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida! We are the Cole Family, and we are truly delighted to host you. Our hope is that you enjoy a peaceful, relaxing, and memorable getaway by the sea. We have remodeled the condo extensively and poured a heap of love and labor into it and hope you enjoy your home from home. It is a truly relaxing place. Do not miss the sunrise, it is stunning.

We will provide you with a ‘welcome’ coffee bar containing coffee, tea, sugar and some snacks such as Pringles, or nuts/cookies and there is fresh milk & bottled water in the fridge. Please do not eat anything that you know will affect any allergies you may have, e.g., nuts.

The mattresses both in the Master and sofa bed are sanitized with a UV light and dust mite machine after every guest stay. That is a unique service that we offer that you won’t find anywhere else. We also use the best waterproof protective covers and layer these with extra protectors and luxury linens. We also use summer and winter comforters as well as luxury coastal bed linens.

Enjoy the beautiful bathroom which is newly remodeled with high pressure shower, bathtub, and hair dryer in the bathroom. There is also a shaving/make up wall mounted mirror with 10x magnification with LED lighting. You will find accessories in the bathroom rack dispenser for the shower, Band-Aids if needed and hand lotion.

Two wall mounted flat TV's, free WIFI and everything you need in the kitchen to cook up a storm. Also, you will find iron & ironing board for your convenience, along with a handheld steamer. The iron and steamer are located in the console cupboard where you will also find an extra-large cooking pot and children's crockery.

Please ensure you keep the sofa cover provided, on the sofa at all times if you have a service animal with you for your visit, thank you we appreciate this consideration. No guest cats permitted. Please also ensure your service pet is up to date with flea & worming treatment for the convenience of other guests and the environment. We cannot accept pets that are not up to date with vaccinations due to the large number of other pets at the resort, both owner and guest pets. There is a newly revamped area for pets behind the Lobby building. Dogs are permitted on the beach too!

The beautiful pool is heated to around 84 degrees (in summer) and overlooks the beach and has plenty of seating and sunbathing areas.

We provide beach towels for each guest, beach chairs and a shading umbrella, and you have exclusive access to the Beach with a shower on the beach deck. Access code for guests will be provided on the day of check-in. Please ensure you rinse sand of the beach chairs and umbrella if used. There is a rinse hose just as you enter the private beach access gate (by the pool).

Relax, breathe in the ocean air, and enjoy every moment. Please read the Welcome Guide with the house and resort rules. There will also be a parking permit left for you in the Guide. The Welcome Guide contains lots of helpful information and recommendations on where to eat and what kind of activities you might like to do.

We also highly recommend Wake2wakefl.com and if you quote DRIFTWOOD10 you will get a discount for any of the water tours that Captain Grant provides, we definitely recommend sandbar days (half days also) or the sunset tour which is spectacular as you can see the beautiful City of St Augustine at night in all its splendor.

Check-In:
• Check‑in Time: not before 3:00 PM unless arranged prior to check in and only if available. For early check-in there is a fee of $25. For late checkout there is a fee of $30 (if late check out is available).
• Entry: Smart Lock — Code provided before arrival and upon confirmation of payment. Enter the 4-digit code and the door will unlock. To lock the door, press KWIKSET and wait for the lock to turn yellow.
• Parking: One parking pass must be always displayed, this will be left for you upon arrival in the property tucked into the Welcome Guide.

Arrival Tips:
• Use the elevator to reach the 4th floor, stairs are a great workout but elevator much easier
• Hotel trolleys provided are usually located in the car parking bay and there are carts by the elevator under the stairwell to make carrying luggage easier.
• For beach access, your landmark is the Pool, and the beach access gate is right there, code will be provided in the condo on the Welcome chalk board and this code changes frequently.

Check‑Out:
• Check‑out Time: up to 11am (small upcharge for late checkout if available, $30)
• Do not strip bed (this makes it easier for me to spot check any stains)
• Wash any used crockery if you have time (do not need to be put away as long as placed on drainer)
• Remove all food from refrigerator and kitchen & take trash to the nearest elevator garbage bin, they are on each floor
• Place all used towels, hand towels and facecloths in bathtub including beach towels if you used them
• Turn off lights, Air Con units in both rooms and check stove/oven is off
• Ensure doors are locked, press Kwikset button (top bar)

House Rules:
• No smoking of any kind or vaping anywhere in the apartment or balcony, the HOA will fine the owners for violations, and these will be passed onto the guests, sorry ☹.
• No parties or events
• Quiet hours: 10PM – 8AM
• No unregistered guests or pets (this invalidates my insurance)
• If you have a service animal for an approved stay, please ensure the protective sofa cover
• There is a designated walk and toilet area for your pet by the Lobby Building, but you can walk your pup on the beach too on a leash
• Please rinse sand off humans and pups using the shower by the beach access and pool
If you do use the beach chairs, please rinse them off at the showers by the pool if you can

• TV: Smart TV's — log in to your apps (please sign out before departure) password for TV's will be sent before check-in

Kitchen & Appliances:
Includes: - Refrigerator & freezer - Stove & oven - Microwave - Coffee maker - Toaster – Kettle & Milk Frother – Waffle Maker – Pots & Pans in the kitchen cupboards. There is a small unit next to the high-top containing fly fan if you dine at the outside high top
Kitchen Notes:
• Please avoid placing hot pans directly on surfaces, use the trivet on counter
• Water can get quite hot so please ensure you assess the water before plunging your hands into the sink and showering
• There is an ice machine on the 3rd floor so right near the unit, which is very convenient, I have provided a small ice bucket in the top of the refrigerator with ice tweezers to serve the ice

Laundry (outside of Unit):
• Washer & dryer available in unit / building for longer stays if required for personal clothing and the machines are coin machines taking $3
• Changeover and cleaning of all unit linens will be collected and replaced by the Host and arranged to suit you and your convenience

• Fire Extinguisher: Hanging on wall hook by shoe basket in entry way and smaller one on hallway console. Fire Stick for pans also on top of fridge along with a smaller extinguisher

• Emergency Contact for Host: We are located 10 mins away from the unit please contact us via the booking site. We will receive a text and will respond within 30 mins

Beach & Pool:
• Pool & Beach access is on the first floor by the elevator – there are toilets here for your convenience also, cleaned regularly
• Outdoor shower available
• No glass in pool area
• Please always supervise children, there are no lifeguards in Pool area.
• Pool is accessed freely no fob or code needed and is open Dawn - Dusk
