    Enjoy ocean breezes and partial views all day at Flamingo Beach House, a fantastic retreat perfect for families or multiple couples, all a few steps from the sand. The living areas located on the third floor maximize the enjoyment of the water vistas throughout the day from sunrise to sunset, and the private, screened pool in the backyard, surrounded by a lush landscaped and fenced yard, is perfect for cooling down and relaxing in the afternoon and evening hours.



    Wake up to the sunrise over the ocean as you sip your morning coffee on one of the upstairs balconies. Then head across the street to the convenient beach board walk, only a 3 minute walk away, for a day in the surf. Come back to enjoy cooling off in the pool and cooking out on the grill or in the fully stocked kitchen, while watching sunset colors reflect on the sky and water. Take in a family movie together in the evening while enjoying the comfortable living room furnishings.



    Rest well in six bedrooms, including two first floor bedrooms, one with king-sized bed and another with a twin bed and a full sleeper sofa, a 2nd floor master bedroom and bathroom suite with jacuzzi tub and walk in shower and large private balcony, a queen bedroom and a double twin bedroom on the second floor, and a queen suite on the upper floor which closes off from the living area by a pocket door.



    The house comes fully stocked with kitchen supplies, grill, bath and bed linens and beach towels. Flamingo Beach Retreat is located on breathtaking, wide St. Augustine beach. Healthy dunes and foliage create a perfect place for spotting all kinds of wildlife. Watch for gopher tortoises along the boardwalk and dolphins swimming offshore! Enjoy a number of fine restaurants, plenty of bars, and local attractions and parks all within a few minutes' drive.



    * Please Note: There is not a hot tub. The square raised space at the end of the pool does not heat up, it is normal pool temp.



    ***Note: The pool heater season is from November 1st - April 15th. Pool heat is available upon request. Pool heat must be requested 24-48 hours in advance. Please inquire for pool heat fees.



    Depending on the weather conditions, the pool may not hit the set point of the heater. Please note, when night temperatures go below 50 degrees the heater cannot operate effectively. Please plan your vacation activities accordingly. No refunds are issued based on weather conditions. ***

Violations can result in a $500 fee. *Decibel levels are monitored at this property to abide by city and county noise ordinances.

Great house close to the beach

Beautiful, updated house, close to the beach. House had everything we needed, and was a quick 2 minute walk to the beach. Beach access was 4 houses down the street. Pool was great, we enjoyed our stay!

Flamingo Beach Hideaway was the perfect fit for our family. The walk to the beach was short and the kids loved looking for gopher tortoises along the walkway. The drive to Historic St. Augustine was a breeze and parking was easy. The hosts were quick to respond and gave great recommendations for dinner. We highly recommend and would definitely come back!

This house was wonderful. Beautiful pool and short walk to the beach. You can see the Ocean from the porches. There are chairs and beach toys in the garage. The beach was not crowded and there are no high rises near you. The house was also very clean! The house is large and three floors which can be challenging, but there is an elevator. Overall we had a great vacation in a wonderful location.

Absolutely Perfect!

We are loving our time here in St. Augustine and this house is perfect for our family! The view is great and my kids are loving the pool!The house is huge with plenty of bedrooms and space to spread out. Very clean and has everything we need! Definitely recommend!!

House is in a quiet neighborhood. Just about 3 houses from the cross walk to beach. The house is Great! Room for families to have their on space. The house is convenient to Old Saint Augustine, the Alligator Farm and lots of Restaurants. My entire Family loved it! Thank you for such a Great experience.

Excellent place. Pool and hot tub were great. Kitchen stocked with and item you may need to cook with. The house very clean. The host was the best, very helpful and responds fast.

Very nice updated home that was very clean upon check in. Communication with the host was the most outstanding part of this rental however. They go out of their way to check in and make sure all is well. The dryer broke down agree day 2 and by day 4 they had a new one in place. They even bright by extra towels on the day in between since we didn’t have a dryer. The house is a very short distance to the boardwalk to the beach. The use of the garage was nice as the rain ran us off the beach a couple of days. We only used the pool a couple of days but it was good.

The house was just as pictured, Spacious & comfortable, no fussy nicknacks to dance around. We all loved the pool. Kitchen was well equipped, it all was immaculate. We all agreed that it was the best vacation house we have rented.

Wonderful beach trip

Wonderful house with plenty of space and rooms/beds for our family—plus a pool and a fenced backyard! Easy walk to the beautiful beach, where we saw gopher tortoises every time we came and went. The home has two jetted tubs (one in the primary suite, another in a separate bathroom), which is a rare and welcome treat. The elevator worked perfectly, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were nicely updated. We especially loved the front porches and made good use of the grill. A few thoughtful updates could make the stay even better. The carpet throughout the house is a bit dated, and the kitchen would benefit from a few additions—a full set of frying pans, better mixing bowls, an upgraded coffee machine, and refreshed floor mats. The dining setup is limited—it doesn’t accommodate more than four people at one table—so it may not suit a large sit-down meal, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, we’d absolutely return for all the great features mentioned above!

The place was great , we enjoyed ourselves . The only thing we had issues with was keurig didn’t work and that’s what we packed for coffee they did have another coffee maker so we went and bought coffee for that one . The king size bed on 1st floor for some reason the mattress goes down under headboard as you sleep and we found our pillows and heads down under it through the night , not the most comfortable bed and odd how it shifts through the night . The walk to the beach is a short walk and we enjoyed the beautiful sunrises every morning . We did not use the jacuzzi and pool because it was priced pretty high to heat for 2 days . Place was plenty big for 13 people but not enough towels and wash rags , definitely prepare to wash daily if you have a full house . Neighbors were nice and house had everything else we needed . We would stay again nothing was bad that would keep us from going back . Just giving input for adjustments if they feel like making them .

Wonderful family beach trip

Fabulous house, everything was just as pictured. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of seating in living room/ dining room/ balcony area for everyone to spread out but still be together. All of the furniture and finishes are high quality, not the usual “flipper” rental. Great location! Beach access 2 houses away and you can see the water from your top balcony. Our only inconvenience was the 6th “bedroom” on the first floor has no door, it’s not really a bedroom but a living space made into a bedroom so it has no privacy. We made it work for our group but would have been nice to know. Other than that, the elevator was great for my mom who can’t do stairs, everything worked, and the host was very responsive with questions and quick to send maintenance to change a chirping fire alarm. We loved our stay and would definitely return!
