Room had a musty smell & we were told because of the heat to keep room temperature at 68 degrees or cooler and that didn’t work. Also all the construction around the area made things inconvenient & to make matters worse somehow my vehicle got scratches on two doors in the hotel parking lot! Needless to say I am not a happy traveler ☹️

Pillows were stuffed to look like throw pillows and were very uncomfortable until we were told they were full size pillows crammed into the pillow cover. Too much construction around the hotel. Location to Historic district was reasonable. Breakfast was good.

Carpet floors in the room were sticky feeling. Almost as if it was an old movie theater. Didn't like the feeling like you had to wear your shoes everywhere in the room. Construction going on around the property was rather inconvenient, which I know is not their fault. Beds were decent. They were clean to my knowledge and sight. The entrance is clean and staff were friendly. Overall, could improve.

We had a decent stay. Our first room was flooding a bit due to all the rain, but the lady at the desk moved us to a different room. Everything seemed clean enough; it looks like the place was renovated in the last few years. It looked nice, but there was definitely some inconsistencies in certain areas (our shower head, cracks in the bathroom tiles, etc.). We also had some type of ants crawling out of the area under the sink faucet in the bathroom the first night. There was also construction happening right outside our window, and while it was not loud during the night, it could be heard during the day. Outside of those few things, the stay was nice. Easy check in, decent breakfast, and convenient to 95.

No washroom privacy! Sliding barn doors are cute but not for a bathroom particularly when there is a gap between the door and wall. You better be VERY comfortable with your travel companion.

Property was updated, clean and service was very good. Only complaint is the road construction that made entrance and exit harder. Also, Restaurants next door was almost impossible to get to. Even GPS had a hard time and sent us around a long way while there was a shorter route that we accidently found after breakfast one morning.
