The Space:

THE SKINNY: This renovated 4 bedroom home is situated right on A1A, directly across from the sand and water, just 100 steps from the conveniently located beach access, now with a safety crosswalk stop light at the street corner (which stops car traffic to allow your family and friends to access the beach safely with ease)!! Amazing morning sun is available in gobs on the pool patio, making this home the perfect vacation house. With our heated POOL, you'll have no choice but to escape completely into vacation mode! (Please see guest section below for info on pool/spa heat and pricing). There are two pool lounge areas, 1 covered and 1 uncovered. The pool area has its own bar and grilling area, plus a dining table and chairs to boot! Enjoy your coffee in the shade, a drink in the sun, fire up the pit at night and turn on the string lights! Cool off in the outdoor shower. There is outdoor seating around the fire pit as well as in the shaded lounge area. This bright and airy high end home boasts 6 flat panel smart TVs! It is situated nearby some great restaurants just a short drive north that are local favorites!



BOAT LOVER'S DREAM: Soak it all in! Bring along your boat and jet skis! Park them in the driveway and then launch them into the Matanzas River at the public launch right at the end of the block!! Couldn't be any more convenient!



This 4/3 is one side of a duplex. The other side of the duplex is not included in the rental. There may be guests occupying the other side of the duplex during your stay. They have their own parking area and entrance.



THE LAYOUT: This beach home has a solid 4 bedroom layout with 3 full bathrooms!

>Master bedroom boasts a King size bed and en suite bathroom.

>Master Bathroom: Has a walk in shower and double vanity as well as a large walk in closet.

>1st Guest bedroom has a comfy Queen size bed.

>2nd Guest Bedroom has a cozy Queen size bed.

>3rd Guest Bedroom has a Queen size bed as well.

>Guest Bathroom 1: Between the 1st and 2nd guest bedrooms, in the hallway. Has a shower/tub combo.

>Guest Bathroom 2: In hallway near living are and 3rd guest bedroom. Has a walk in shower.

Bathrooms are outfitted with 2 rolls of toilet paper each.



OPEN LIVING: The kitchen is situated adjacent to the living and dining area so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with one roll of paper towels, a few starter trash bags and dishwasher pods for your first couple of days. The house showcases wide-planked hardwood floors. The large open-window sliding back door off of the dining room overlooking the pool makes you feel like you can sink right into vacation mode!



LAUNDRY ROOM: We offer a washer and dryer, starter laundry pods, iron and ironing board and some basic cleaning supplies for your convenience. Linens and towels are included!



HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE: Just a 20 minute drive north on A1A is historic downtown St. Augustine! Take a tour, enjoy the rich Spanish history, the architecture, the food and craft cocktails and all that our pleasant waterfront town has to offer. BEACHSIDE FUN IN THE SUN: Our beaches are unparalleled! We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine Beach. This home is situated across the street from the beach walkover on the other side of A1A which we can guide you to after booking confirmation. You can also drive to one of the public beach accesses to park and walk on.



TURN IT UP: Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations.



SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $99. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1000 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements.



Guest Access:

Entire space of this 4/3 home, pool deck and driveway is included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home.



This 4/3 is one side of a duplex. The other side of the duplex is not included in the rental. There may be guests occupying the other side of the duplex during your stay. They have their own parking area and entrance.



Pool and spa heat is offered at $350 per week or $60 a day. The spa can be heated year round. Pool heat is available March 1-Oct 31 and only when the outdoor temperature is over 60 degrees (if under 60 degrees, we cannot guarantee the heater can maintain a swimmable temperature). The spa and pool cannot both be heated at the same time, only one or the other can be heated at a time (so if the pool is heating, the spa cannot be heated and vice versa).



The spa/hot tub is controlled virtually by the owner. Please let us know what time you would like to get in the spa (request 24 hours in advance) so we can begin pre-heating it for you. Once it reaches temp (99 degrees) the hot tub will run for 3 hours and then switch back to heating/circulating the pool to keep it from turning green. Please note: Spa can only run for 6 hours maximum per day.



Dog friendly only. 2 dog total allowed, with maximum weight of 50 lbs each.



Our dog rent fee is $30.00/night, $175.00/Week, with a maximum of $300.00/Month.

-This fee is added on to your total after booking confirmation.

-The fee doesn't cover damage caused by your pet. We will provide photos and a handyman quote to fairly assess repair charges.

-Pets must be fully housebroken, freshly bathed prior to arrival and treated with flea and tick meds within 30 days of check in.

-Please share with us any details regarding weight, age, if crated when left alone, if allowed on furniture. If you are bringing a dog, please reach out to us directly about our policy and fees!



Please do not go through the pool deck gate nearest the outdoor shower, that is a private area reserved for the guests in the other home.



You may hear the people renting the other side of the house occasionally through the walls.



For your security and the security of the property, there are cameras located throughout the exterior only areas of the home. There are no interior cameras on the property.



The Neighborhood:

Crescent Beach is a very eclectic local neighborhood! Feel like you are a true part of the St. Augustine community.



The boat ramp is right at the end of the street. Bring your boat and jet ski's along and drop them in just half a block away!!



Locally, we have several rental places where you can stock up on beach and water sports gear. Additionally, there is a service called Drifters that will come to the house to drop off bikes that you can rent at a daily rate.



A close and convenience restaurant a few minutes drive north is one of my all time favorites! - Back 40 A1A! You have to try the Chimmichurri Steak Quesadilla and Jerk Chicken Tacos!



Getting Around:

We recommend having a car to navigate around town. You can also rent bikes from Drifters bike rental delivery/pickup service.



Getting to the beach is safer now, with the safety crosswalk that was installed with stop light to stop oncoming car traffic, and allow your group to safely cross the street to the beach access.



Interaction with Guests:

I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. I'm only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self checkin upon arrival.

Great place to stay if everything worked

Arrived and the playset was missing. Listing was only updated after I mentioned that it was a major factor and we had really looked forward to playing with our son on it. Also this house is split into a duplex so you don't have the whole home as VRBO advertised. This is mentioned by the owner after expanding all the fine print details about the property. The hot tub was COLD and they would only let it run a few hours at a time. No guest controls on the hot tub either. Had to message the host in advance every time we wanted to use it and it took hours to heat up. There was not baseline temp either, it was cold just a few hours after each use. There is a floodlight camera near the pool that was constantly flashing off and on our entire stay- not exactly the relaxing time in the hot tub viewing stars that we've had other places. Tiny black ants were everywhere. They address this in their welcome book on the entertainment console saying it's normal in Florida to have bugs. I've lived in Jacksonville before and this isn't the norm. They were on the bedside tables, countertops, and the floor where I planned on playing with our son. Every morning woke up with them in my glass of water. Found socks and underwear from the previous renter in the dresser - gross! Master shower is nice and had room for my son to play in the water though the hot water seemed lacking in supply compared to home and ran out after 20 minutes or so. This place has potential but seemed like it was being rented before it was ready.
