Dormi Ć  8/10, il sā€™agit dā€™un Ć©difice emblĆ©matique de St Andrews, situĆ© dans le centre de South Street, avec un grand jardin et une vĆ©randa entiĆØrement clos. Lieu de naissance de James Foulis, vainqueur de l'US Open en 1896, concepteur de parcours de golf et inventeur du club de golf mashie-niblick. La maison a quatre chambres Ć  coucher et deux salles de bain. Cette demeure historique de caractĆØre datant du XVIIIe siĆØcle dispose de tout le confort dā€™une maison bien-aimĆ©e, y compris dā€™un accĆØs Internet sans fil. Son emplacement central le met directement Ć  la porte des nombreux magasins d'artisanat, restaurants et pubs de la ville. Le Old Course, cĆ©lĆØbre dans le monde entier, se trouve Ć  seulement cinq minutes Ć  pied. Il y a un petit garage Ć  proximitĆ© pour les clients. Cowperā€™s Close was a GEM. Suited our family trip (ages newborn to 70s) perfectly. Charm city but also completely comfortable, and the location could not be better. Wonderful to have multiple living spaces (& even a backyard!) for that many people, and the kitchen was the best-equipped of any rental weā€™ve done. We hope to be back somedayā€¦.soon!

This was our third stay in Cowper Close.As before we had a great stay in the house.Itā€™s in an excellent location in St Andrews - right in the centre of town with a short walk to shops, pubs, restaurants and visitor attractions.The house is spacious, warm, and very well equipped.

Great property. Awesome location on one of St Andrews two major streets with shops, pubs and restaurants. The Saint pub/restaurant shares a wall with Cowpers. Great food. Get a rez. Emma called to make sure we were settled in comfortably and was very responsive to emails throughout the booking. Thanks Emma! (Sorry I forgot to let you know we weā€™re leaving early on checkout day. BA changed our flights from Edinburgh to Glasgow and we were scrambling to make them.) The house is well laid out and spacious for 8 people with a nice dining room with a wood burning stove , a sun room on the back with a heater, and a living room with a gas fireplace as well. Lots of room to hang out when itā€™s break time. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for our early Christmas dinner. Everything was a 1-10 minute walk from the house. We will definitely be coming back.

Great location right in town and walkable to everything. So close to west sands beach where in the summer you can view both sunrise (if you are prepared to rise at 3am) and sunset just a few hours later! The house was so comfortable and clean and well equipped and lots of space to relax. And a contained back garden and conservatory to boot. Beautifully old property with a long history. We came for my sons graduation from St Andrews. We are sorry to leave this magical place but we will be back. Thank you for letting us stay in this great property.

A wonderfully welcoming home in the heart of St Andrews. Our family loved staying at Cowperā€™s Close while exploring the town, enjoying a round of golf and touring the Highlands. There was plenty of room for our 7 adults to relax, particularly enjoying the conservatory. The beds were very comfortable and had been configured nicely for our couples. If you like traditional home style, books and cozy furnishings, this is a perfect place. As well, there are plenty of coffee shops and good restaurants close by, many providing good options for dietary needs. Our family felt very much at home staying here and would definitely book again.

I rented this cottage for my daughter and niece, and their fiancees. This cottage was awesome. Large, comfortable, wonderful. The kitchen was plenty big. We had a family farewell dinner there on our last night. Between the patio, the yard, and the dinning room it was perfect. Highly recommend. The two bathrooms for 4 bedrooms was no issue at all.

Super convenient. We stayed here for a golf trip and found the property to be everything we needed; large enough to easily host more than just the 4 of us and a fantastic location. We didn't use the garage; on the odd occasion when we left the house after 9am we simply popped Ā£1.10 into the meter outside the house via the Ringo app.

This house is very spacious yet cozy. There are many rooms (family room, living room and dining room, sun room) besides kitchen, garden and 4 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and had excellent linens. 2 full bathrooms was helpful. Across the street and next door were truly wonderful bakery, breakfast/lunch carry out, a pub and steak restaurant. This house is located in the old town within walking distance of the castle, cathedral and the old course. I 100% recommend this vacation home.

This is an excellent base for a stay in St Andrews. The house is warm and comfortable with plenty of room for our party of six adults. Its location right in the centre of town meant that restaurants, bars, shops, golf, the beaches and the historic attractions were all within easy walking distance. The house is very well equipped with everything you need in a holiday rental. - the Aga cooker and the baby grand piano made the house extra special.

We felt very much at home in this property. It is very spacious and had everything you could possibly want or need, including a huge selection of books and games. The kitchen was very well equipped and the Aga made the kitchen and diningroom so cosy. The bedrooms were very comfortable with lovely mattresses, pillows and bedding and we had great nights sleep. The location is right in the heart of St Andrews and everything within easy walking distance. Would love to return in the summer to make use of the lovely conservatory and garden. This was a very special place and full of character and we would love to return one day.

This property was amazing. From the outside of the house it looks really small, but it is very spacious, and was perfect for our purposes. It is right in the middle of town and everything is easily accessible walking. Thank you! If available, we will definitely stay here again.
