Nous avons beaucoup apprécié toutes les prestations de l'hôtel. On ne peux pas faire mieux. L'environnement est exceptionnel avec son parcours de golf et les promenades qu'on peut y faire. Nous rêvons d'y retourner le plus vite possible en y restant une bonne semaine pour jouer au golf, pratiquer d'autres activités sportives disponibles sur place et pour nous ressourcer. Félicitations au groupe Accor qui a réussi à faire de Fairmont Saint Andrews un joyau de l'hôtellerie pour une clientèle exigeante.

Bord de mer / pas de plage
Chambre à côté d’une soufflerie très bruyante. Pas de vue , dommage pour un hôtel situé au bord de mer et sur un golf / resto italien (sic!) et pas de poisson pour le dîner. Pour être satisfait il faut impérativement prendre une chambre à l’étage avec vue !

Très bonne expérience. Séjour merveilleux. Deco intérieure pleine de charme. Petit déjeuner de toi. Chambre et literie très confortable et piscine spa quand le temps est au brouillard !

Amazing hotel. We had a wonderful stay. The restaurant at the clubhouse was superb with stunning views (lovely that the shuttle takes and picks you up). The bell team charged our electric vehicle which was very convenient. The breakfast was wonderful with excellent choices. Our spa massages were superb. Golf will be on our agenda next time since the courses look great (we played St Andrews this visit).

We had such a great stay at the Fairmont St Andrews. This might be the nicest most beautiful property we have stayed in. It’s absolutely stunning and everyone that works here is incredibly nice and helpful. The gym is amazing and the breakfast buffet had a ton of options (omelette station was fantastic). This is NOT a walkable property but there is a shuttle that runs until 6pm daily which is about 7min drive to town. You DO need to sign up in advance which is a lesson we learned more than once. They can also call you a cab which is super easy. It’s about $14 each way. You will not regret booking this hotel!

Room for improvement!!
From booking in through to checking out so many things were not good or downright poor. All staff very pleasant but the hotel did not seem to be working anywhere near the level expected.

We were allowed check in at 4pm and turned up on the dot and they said our room wasn’t ready so to go sit in a lounge area and they would call. This messed up our agenda straight away and we couldn’t gain WiFi access as no room code. I provided them twitch my email and it looked like they had my mobile Number and still no contact t at 5.20pm to say I’d room was ready. Decided to go to reception to ask what was going on and was told They didn’t have my mobile number ? I then said why did you not email me and they apologised and said yes they should have. Made them aware of my I happinesses but nothing was escalated or offered. Device in lounges was slow and we waited 15 mins for our drinks to arrive. Poor experience

The stay was excellent, the only negative was the air conditioning was vey noisy in our room.If we were staying for more than one night it might have been a problem.

Too pricey for what you get back
Jacuzzi wasn’t working and service across all bars and restaurant very slow. Had couple of cocktails that weren’t made great. Room was lovey and staff all pleasant but your paying premium prices for service which isn’t premium

5 star hotel not at 5 star standards
The grounds are amazing. We ate at the clubhouse and the food and service were mediocre. There was a table of 8 in at the same time as us (no others) and it was mid afternoon. We waited 20min to be served and when we asked to be served, we were asked to wait another 5min. Food was very sub standard and not worth the price at all! The views however, incredible. Unfortunately service inside was similar. BUT reception and concierge were INCREDIBLE!!!! So helpful and went out of their way.

Excellent friendly and professional service from all staff. Very eco friendly. Sadly St Andrews Grill very poor quality and not value for monet. £8 for bread quite unacceptable.
