The Funky Flamingo - Neptune's Grotto Old Florida Adventure Retreats

Located in Weeki Wachee at Neptune's Grotto Old Florida Adventure Retreat on a Spring with easy access to the Gulf Of Mexico and Weeki Wachee River. Kayaks are provided for adventure on the water. Head to nearby Weeki Wachee River or out to the paddling trails by the Gulf! There is a park style grill on site, an outdoor sink, an outdoor shower and a shared restroom with a toilet and a sink, all steps away from your camper. No pets allowed.
The space
Inside of this vintage 1966 camper you will have 2 single beds (approximately the size of a camping cot), a mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave, AC and a Fire TV with Hulu plus live TV. Lots of comforts while still roughing it!
Guest access
You will have access to a beach with Adirondack chairs, a park style charcoal grill, restroom with a toilet and sink, an outdoor shower with hot water and access to the water that surrounds the property.
Other things to note
The camper is located at Neptune’s Grotto, An Old Florida Adventure Retreat. There are other guests staying at the lodge using the outdoor facilities and boat rentals at the dock in front of the camper. As you can see from the photos, the camper is small, the interior clearance is not intended to provide standing room and the beds are the size of a camping cot. Essentially this is a glorified camping experience with the comfort of air conditioning, electricity, TV, availability of a restroom and shower and the ability to get inside away from rainy weather or insects such as mosquitoes and no-see-ums which naturally occur in the outdoors of Florida. Bring some bug spray to enjoy the outdoors in the morning and evening.!
