A magical getaway
Second time staying here at this little oasis, and I booked for next year already! This is the perfect getaway if you want time to yourself and to enjoy the amazing things all the island has to offer. Hosts were awesome and responsive. Cannot wait to return!

Beautiful location!
We loved the cottage on the beach! Having a golf cart to travel around the island was fun as was the kayak and paddle board for water sports. We appreciated the attention to detail in helping us with arrival and departure!

We stayed at Aprils for 5 days. Communication right from booking was top notch. She arranged for transportation from Eleuthera to the cottage. The cottage in itself is cozy and adequate for the both of us. Anymore than 2 will be a tight fit. Its right on a private beach with calm waters, ideal for lil ones . However, the sounds from the neighboring Sandbar will go on till about 10. It was nice to be able to just walk along the beach to the restaurant though. The weather was a bit nippy but we were able to enjoy the cool nights. On clear nights the amazing number of stars you could see was incredible. However there is a wild rooster on mission to wake the island 😄. The beds were comfortable and there was adequate supplies in the kitchen. Some appliances however had seen better days. The golf cart was great and we enjoyed driving to Spanish Wells. The people are all kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our guided trip of Eleuthera with Caroline. She was a treasure trove of knowledge. Will definitely come again.

Finding the Sun
We had a lovely time at Coral Cove. I had carefully reviewed our choices for a January getaway away from our cold NW weather. The ice storm at home nearly got in our way so was excited to put on shorts and t-shirts for a week. All the arrangements for pick up and return were just as stated. Enjoyed having the golf cart to get around. We were looking for quiet, relaxing and unscheduled week. We knew we had options but the adventures we focused on was finding all the restaurants recommended including the one we could walk to on the beach nearby. The cabin is compact but had everything we needed. The property had the outdoor spots to relax in the sun and the shade. Communication with the owners was excellent. This is one for memories. Wonderful Property
I will start out by saying that April and Tyson are the most wonderful hosts and will help with all your needs. They arranged for transportation from the airport and provided a golf cart for transportation around the islands. This property sits in a picturesque cove right on the water. Use the paddle board and kayak to check out the neighboring islands and sea life. Grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, and beaches are all conveniently located from this property. Restaurants we particularly enjoyed included Wreckers, The Shipyard, and Budda’s snack shack. The Sand Bar is located next door for some good drinks and food. The entire island was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we wished we could stay longer. We highly recommend this property and will be back soon!

Beautiful Coral Cove!!!
Coral Cove was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this property for a couple who are looking for quiet and privacy. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the view is stunning. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. April is a perfect host who communicates well with you and answers all your questions. Coral Cove and Russell Island made our vacation perfect!!!

The best anniversary trip!
First off, April was so quick to reply to any questions I had, even things not about the cottage. This cottage was perfect for my husband and I celebrating our 10 year anniversary. It’s like we had our own private beach. The best part would be that we booked an excursion for a Tuesday and April and Captain Dickey watched the weather and suggested we go on a different day (which we did) and it was awesome! If we would’ve stuck with our original day, we would’ve been miserable on the boat. The lobster spearing was “exhilarating” says my husband. I enjoyed the fishing and swimming with the turtles. Captain Dickey also got a conch for us while they were lobster spearing. Everyone on the island is so friendly and helpful. The food on the island is excellent. Our favorite would be Wrecker’s and Papa’s Scoops. Keep in mind some of the places around here close at 5pm. Our cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed riding around on the golf cart going down different streets to see the beautiful views. We took the ferry back to Eleuthera and a cab to see Preacher’s cave and Sapphire blue hole. That was neat as well. All in all, I have. I thing negative to say about our time in Spanish Wells. We definitely will be back with our kids in the near future. I cannot find anything negative to say about this trip. Thanks again to our wonderful hosts!

Best Spot on the Island
I promise you I believe this place has the prime location! With its own private beach area, the kindest neighbor, and a great bar next door, we didn’t have to go far to have a good time. The bed was comfortable, the futon was comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The owners were always available and very kind. Brandi was very helpful in showing us the island upon arrival and getting us acclimated. It was fun to explore the island on the golf cart and wave at everyone every where we went. When I return to the island, this is the place I would want to stay again!!

Peaceful paradise
Cute little bungalow on the beach. This is the place for you if you like a relaxing vacation. If you are outside, you can hear music from the restaurant next door, but that is pretty minimal (restaurant is great to get a cocktail or meal from if you don’t want to cook). The ocean out front is very calm, but can kick up a little at times. We snorkeled out front quite a bit. There is a grouping of cement blocks (close to the rocks near the bar) teeming with fish and we saw an eel! Saw several rays while just hanging in the water out front. We did the boat excursion with the owner which was fabulous. Golf cart, kayak, and paddle board were also great! Bungalow is nothing fancy, but well stocked and fit perfect for us. Owner is very responsive and helpful. I’d come back anytime!

Great Time
The cottage was great perfect for a couple. I was a little concerned having the bar next door but we had zero issues with noise or nuisance and it was very convenient. Its far enough away the noise isn't an issue. We enjoyed our stay very much. Just FYI this is not the spot for thrill seekers. Everything on the Island with the exception of a few restaurants closes at 5 However if you are looking for relaxing time its a great spot. We sampled many restaurants and by far the best meal we had was at the Cove on the main Island. The food on SW was just so so but the cove was 10 out of 10 If you get to the main island dont miss it.

What a wonderful getaway! Great little cottage with a spectacular view and beautiful beach. The place was so nicely appointed and CLEAN! Loved the ocean/island decor. Bed was nice and comfy. Owners were accommodating and immediately responsive to questions. So nice to have the golf cart to motor around town and explore. Didn’t have a care in the world at Coral Cove Cottage!

The cottage is in a great location, right on what feels like your own little beach! Perfect for relaxing or you had the kayak and paddle board if you wanted to do an activity. There was a restaurant right next door, but everything else you needed was easily accessible since you had the golf cart. I can’t say enough about how awesome the host April was! Always communicating with us, arranging our transportation and letting us know there was a local market to check out while we were there. Made everything so easy and stress free!

“It's All About the Memories”
My husband and I just got back from a weeks vacation at the beautiful, Coral Cove Beach Cottage! Words alone cannot describe the experience we had, so much laughter! Our caregiver April & Tyson Newbold are Top Notch! 24/7 communication, The home comes with a fully equipped Kitchen, pack very light.. The sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking. A constant ocean breeze made it enjoyable to sit outside during the day and even better at night. While sitting outside at night, turn the lights off and see stars for miles. We did a day excursion with TyMan Fishing Charter & Adventures's! Fantastic experience!!! Captain Rubin was fabulous.!! Swimming with the pigs/turtles, and feeding stingrays with our toes:) Rubin has a great personality, very knowledgeable and we had an absolute blast spending the day with him. You won't be disappointed. Plenty of places to eat, walking distance to the Sandbar Restaurant. Plenty of shops to buy souvenirs. This was definitely a well needed and relaxing vacation for the both of us, we will be returning in June!

Not sure what you’re meaning about the little things need to be updated, I wish you would’ve let me known , as we have talked quite a few times .The photos that are listed on the website is exactly what you see when you arrive . Everything that is mentioned on the website comes absolutely free, such as the golf cart, the kayak, and the paddleboard .There are no add-ons or extra pricing for anything at the cottage. The only fee is the fee that you pay through the website when you book .No extra fees after you arrive at the cottage .The grill is brand new, the bed is new, hotel quality bedsheets, paddleboard and kayak is fairly new. I will thoroughly check out everything again before our next guest check-in !We always make sure that everything is in great condition so our guest could have the best stay possible. Our stay was amazing. The property is right on the beach and within walking distance of great food. The description of the property says it all. Great communication! They also run a charter company and can set up a charter to take you to all the amazing things to see. We will certainly be staying here when we return.

Best vacation ever
From the minute I booked at coral cove until the day I was leaving on the plane I had constant contact and instant responses from April or Tyson. Our favorite day was going out on one of their tours with captain Rubin who made our private tour one of the best things we have ever done. The cottage was perfectly set up for our vacation and we traveled around on the included golf cart. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed it from the chairs, the outdoor bed, the couch, the floats, the paddle board and the kayak. Everything was there for us and we enjoyed it all. The only thing I would advise is that the water that comes out of the tap for washing or cooking is very salty. We knew in advance by reading all the reviews to get some water and we purchased a case of water at the supermarket which we used to make coffee and wash fruit and brush our teeth. It was not a big deal at all but definitely something to keep in mind. All in all this was our best vacation yet based on our beautiful stay at coral cove, our tour with the amazing captain Rubin and the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We would love to return someday soon!!! Thank you to April and Tyson for providing us with everything we needed to just relax and enjoy our vacation.

Excellent Secluded Beach House
This place was amazing for a couple or family of 3. It's a small house, but it has everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. You have the small, secluded beach almost completely to yourself. The various outdoor furniture options were perfect for a meal, sunbathing, book reading, or napping. Spanish Wells and Russell Island where the house is located were amazing. These are very small, quiet, and extremely safe islands that made this the perfect spot to relax. There are a handful of excellent restaurants to choose from on the islands (one of the best is pretty much next door). Everything (grocery, liquor, gift shop, restaurants, harbor, etc.) is easily accessible by golf cart, which is conveniently provided with the house. Adventure is also very possible on these islands. We took a 1/2 day trip with Tyman Charters, and it was amazing. We saw swimming pigs, stingrays, extensive sandbars, water swings, cliff jumping, and snorkeling. This is an absolute must for anyone that wants to see the beauty of this area. We also took a large ferry ride to Harbour Island for the day to see the pink sand beaches and to experience a much busier island. This was also fun, but it made me appreciate the slower pace and stillness of Spanish Wells. April was a perfect host and made the trip super easy. She organized transportation to and from the airport to the house. She was extremely responsive to any questions that we had. I was very impressed at how quickly she got us going when we had an unlucky flat tire. She had a mechanic show up and replace the tire for us within 30 minutes. I can't imagine having a more responsive and thoughtful host.

This cottage is located right on the beach and in front of the most gorgeous, turquoise water I have ever seen. It's, also, within walking distance to a nice little bar and grill that served cold drinks and good food. It was perfect for the two of us and included everything we needed. The town is small and laidback, which we loved. We would recommend this place to other couples looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Our stay at Coral Cove was the best. Our host April and Tyson were the best as was their daughter. Every thing from booking to our departure was wonderful went smoothly . The cottage was adorable it was decorated so beautifully and well stocked for our everyday needs. We really enjoyed the kayak, paddleboard and the bed on the beach. Our transportation was a hoot !!!! We loved and had a blast on the golf cart. We had a great time with Ruben our fishing guide he was very knowledgeable of the islands and we caught enough fish that we had 2 great dinners . Next door was a great outdoor restaurant The Sand bar, great food and super friendly staff. Spanish Wells and Russel Island both were great little islands. Great food and drinks. Very , very relaxing minimal traffic and not crowed what so ever. Beautiful beaches and fun filled adventures. The conch salad stand on Russel island is a must. If your looking for a chillaxing vacation this is the place to stay. We loved it!!! Thank you Tyson and April for providing us with a beautiful cottage for our wonderful time on Russel Island.

Honeymoon In Paradise
We absolutely enjoyed every moment of our Honeymoon! The Coral Cove Cottage was perfect, private, and had everything we needed! We had our own personal beach, lounge chairs, a beach bed, a couch, and an outdoor shower! It was in a perfect location. April and Breanna were so kind and April responded anytime we had a question. They were great hosts! We enjoyed kayaking with the 2 seater kayak and loved eating breakfast outside while drinking our coffee. The breeze is great! We relaxed on the hammock and slept great in the comfortable bed! I would highly recommend staying at Coral Cove!

Coral cove is the cutest little property right on the beach. It has everything you need! Me and my husband and our baby really enjoyed staying here, and waking up to the beautiful view and stargazing at night. The area is quiet but feels very safe, especially with the sandbar restaurant just a few feet away. Total privacy and tranquility. April was amazing with communication and always available to help and answer questions. This place is everything you could hope for and more!

We had an amazing stay at Coral Beach Cove. It was an adorable little place and very comfortable & clean! The owners were very communicative and helpful for us! They even picked us up & dropped us off at the ferry & helped with our luggage. April left us cold water/Johnny Cakes & fudge (thank you!!) The beach was beautiful & has a private cabana! The house is a very short walk to a restaurant/bar called Sand Bar. (way too much fun!) If I could make one suggestion if traveling to the Bahamas, it would be to bring bug repellent spray or cream of some kind-even some hydrocortisone. We all got bit by the No See Em’s and were very itchy all the way home. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will definitely be back again!!

Best Vacation Ever
1st, communication with Tyson & April is awesome. They are very responsive and detailed. 2nd, they are both extremely helpful and accommodating. We were traveling during covid testing and required a couple different tests during our stay. They scheduled us time that worked with our itinerary to be tested. We just had to show up. They arranged for our transportation to and from the airport also. We just needed to pay the ferry and taxi driver but they were there waiting for us both ways. This was one of the easiest vacations to be on. We were picked up on the island by April who personally drove us to the house we were renting. She gave us an island mini tour along the way which helped us out quite a bit when navigating the island on our own. The house was perfect for us. It is not fancy but it is amazing. The owners included a bit of local treats, fudge and Johnny cakes, and they were amazing. They also included a gallon of fresh water for drinking and cooking. Getting the gallon refilled was only 65 cents so not an expense that bothered us. The tap water is fine for showers but you won't want to drink it. We also used the fresh water for brushing our teeth. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen is small but has everything we needed, and the bathroom served its purpose. There is onsite washer and dryer. The house was mainly to sleep, hold our stuff, and serve as a place to collect ourselves but we were there a lot. The golfcart that comes with the house was great. From the house to the farthest end of the islands was about 15 minutes. That was perfect. Just remember to wave to everyone. The folks on the island, locals and visitors, are all very friendly. The house is located right next door to one of the larger restaurants in Spanish Wells. And honestly that is great. A 25 yard walk down the beach and you are having a drink or eating some delicious food. You cannot see the restaurant from the house and can barely hear it so there is no distraction or sense of intrusion. The restaurant was not open on Mondays while we were there. There are quite a few other options for dining which were all delicious in their own right. If you are looking for a place to stay on a gorgeous island where you want to relax and not be around crowds of people, this is the place. Tyson and April will make sure you have a place that is wonderful and the relaxing is up to you. We plan to be back in 2024 and stay at their property again.

Nice spot w/things to be aware of...
There are many wonderful things about this place. The location on the beach is wonderful, the bar next door serves up great food and good drinks. Overall, for beachfront access in the Bahamas, it is a good option. A couple of things to note about the property itself. We found the bed and sheets to be pretty uncomfortable which made truly relaxing challenging since we were not sleeping super well. I've never been someone to consider bringing my own sheets, but if I were to stay at this property again I would certainly consider it to make it a little more enjoyable. Also, you may want to bring your own toilet paper and some laundry detergent. According to April, they only supply one roll of TP regardless of your length of stay (ours was intended to be 10 days but we decided to leave early)... you can buy it there but its more expensive. Overall, we were mostly happy with our communication with April and her family. We had an issue on the first day with our golf cart and she switched it out. When we reached out to her about a wasps nest and a group of wasps that had made their home on top of the kayak and other swimming amenities April asked us to deal with it ourselves which we thought was kind of strange given that they were amenities that were advertised. I've had a bad reaction to wasps in the past so I was not going to brave getting rid of the wasps nest on our own while on vacation, so we just didn't use the kayak/paddleboard. :( Overall, if you are set on the Bahamas and want a beachfront place, this is a good option. Towards the end of our trip we decided to head over and finish out our stay on Harbour Island which definitely has a different vibe and was a nice change.

Wow! I’m in shock to hear that you had a hard time sleeping on the bed! Most of my guest ask me what type of mattress we have on the bed because they sleep so well at the cottage! I have never had no one complain about the Bed sheets.You messaged me for everything elsewhy didn’t you ever mention anything about the bedsheets? I would’ve gladly brought you over another set because we have lots of new ones since we have two other rentals. Since a good night sleep is very important I’m not sure why you didn’t mention that to me. When you message me about the wasp nest I told you that it was bug spray under the kitchen cabinet, just one little spray would’ve gotten rid of them since it was only a tiny nest . if you have a bad reaction to the wasp and didn’t want to spray it ,your husband could’ve easily done it. This is the text message that you sent me “I hate to disturb them because they need a home too, but do you think someone could come by and send them elsewhere? “ apparently you didn’t want to get rid of them. If I would’ve came to the cottage I would’ve had to spray them with the same bug spray that you had at the cottage. You told me you went over to Harbor Island because your friend Had a house there and they invited you to come stay with them. I have never had no one complain about buying toilet paper for a few dollars, we provide a role or two for our guest when they check in and also a roll of paper towel to carry you through for a few days .If you thought the prices here were high for toilet paper and detergent, I can’t imagine how you felt when you seen the prices in Harbour Island ,since everything there is 2 to 3 times the amount of money . I tried my best to make your vacation perfect and stress-free, like I do for all of my guest. We do our very best and go above and beyond to make sure that our guest have their best vacation while staying at our rental properties. I answered all of your messages very quickly and was glad to help you with everything that you asked for. I even arranged your water and land taxi for Harbor Island, you changed the timing three times and I had to rearrange it ,which I didn’t mind doing at all. You even thanked me for everything that I did for you. Once again I apologize , I wish I could’ve made your stay better. Hopefully anyone reading this review, it doesn’t stop you from renting our little slice of Paradise! We would love to have you as our guest! Kindest Regards, April

April and Tyson were the best hosts we have had. They arrangeed everything we needed from a suitcase ( ours was brokern on the flight) to a dentist appointment for a broken tooth. The property was perfect with the bed on the beach the couch under the trees and the beach right there. Higly reccomend this property for thse wishing to relax, or for honeymooners,.The house had everything we needed and the golf cart, kayaks and paddle board were used a lot but us. Foe me the perfect vacation and I will definatley return. 10 stars from us!

Perfect Escape
My husband and I stayed at Coral Cove for a blissful week in November 2021. April goes above and beyond in making sure her guests are comfortable ; from helping with transportation ,to covid testing, and( best of all) providing charter options. We loved our day and a half with Captain Ruben via Tyman Charters. We caught a Wahoo , fed Sea Turtles , explored the Sandbar. Honestly, words just don't do the experience justice! We loved riding around the island in the provided golf cart, as well as paddle boarding and kayaking right out the front door. The daybed on the beach offers a romantic touch and we loved posting up and watching the water and boats come in to visit the Sandbar restaurant next door.. The cottage has every thoughtful item needed to make the stay feel personal, private, and just totally relaxing, in what feels like your own piece of paradise. Thank you for an incredible experience April and Captain Ruben! Grade A host , charter and an overall 5 star experience.

OMG RUSSELL ISLAND AND SPANISH WELLS
Can't say enough about the hospitality of people here as well as owners. Golf cart supplied to explore on land and owners do boat excursions as well. Very knowledgeable family. Tyman was 30 years lobster fisherman and had no trouble jumping in and getting us lobsters for dinner. The snorkeling over the beautiful coral reefs was incredible. As we never had fished, we set out another day with Capn Rubin, also a crew member and family. He was quite knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us for a variety of delicious catch. Private beach and cutest bungalow. Outdoor patio and grill. Saweeet!

A true getaway in paradise
If you are looking for a quiet, private place to stay for 2 people right on the ocean in the outer Bahamas, this is the place to be! It had everything we needed - from a private sandy beach and cove to swim in, hammocks, shaded waterfront area with an outdoor couch, kayaks, paddleboard, a cabana bed on the beach, a golf cart to tour and navigate the small quaint island, and a comfortable cottage to stay in. It was a perfect place to get off the grid and completely relax. And, if you want local conveniences, there is a great waterfront restaurant down the beach - far enough where noise doesn't bother you, but close enough to walk to on the beach in a few minutes. Plus the incredibly beautiful local waters, friendly locals, and quaint downtown within a 10 minute golf cart ride were perfect when you wanted human interaction, bars & restaurants. A place we will visit more than once for sure!

Coral Cove Cottage Spanish Wells
Coral Cove Cottage was a relaxing getaway with private beach. Hosts very accommodating helped with taxis to get us there. Good communication with host. Unique outdoor features and other nice touches. Good location clean and quiet near restaurants, Free use of golf cart to explore islands. Privacy was great we just needed to unwind and April and Tyman provided that. He also provides Tyman charters with many boat excursions. Just wonderful! Highly recommend it.

Coral cove was the perfect place for a couple. It had all the amenities we needed. The beautiful ocean was steps from our door. The views were magnificent. April was truly the best host we could have hoped for. She always responded to our questions within minutes. Having the golf cart for the week was a great plus. Thanks April and Tyson for everything. We had a wonderful vacation there and will most certainly return in the near future.

Home away from home
This is our 3rd trip to Spanish Wells and Coral Cove Cottage in a year. The cottage is small but perfect for just two people and well acquainted. You can't beat the view either. The owners, April and Tyson, are absolutely wonderful to work with and assist with whatever you need. They also have a charter business, Tyman Fishing Adventures, and we always book excursions with them. Can't ask for better people to help you escape reality and enjoy paradise for a little bit!
