There recommendations were perfect for us. Clean well appointed room. Hot tub was a nice touch and the Garden very nice. Highly recommended. »

« Diana and Noel are the best host and hostess we have experienced in years of staying in B&B accommodations. They are kind, helpful, and delightful company. Their home is beautiful, cozy and full of charm. They provide ample space across many rooms in their home. Your breakfast is home cooked delicious and coffee amazing (Noel is a first rate barista). »

« Only down side is that i didnt stay longer! A very cute little cottage with everything you need. Good heating, a very warm and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and a lovely little deck outside your room and access to a private outdoor bath. This is very close to Roxburgh and Ettrick traven is just up the road. I would love to come back and stay here again. There is no staff on site and i had to go to the cafe next door to ask about how to access my room. The ladies in the cafe said...

« For us too close to a main road and therefore too noisy - i wish a plan or similar of the site when booking informed us of this, also in this regard so we could choose a unit from the several there. However, to balance things the unit itself is really excellent, clean and well equipped and the owners have tried to plant a pleasant area around the units. It was dog friendly which we appreciated. »

« We really enjoyed our stay with Jeff and Jan! The room was spotless, and Jeff and Jan were such thoughtful and welcoming hosts. They were extremely helpful in providing us recommendations on places to see, eat, and activities in the area. Their breakfasts were an absolute delight (and tasty!), even at our early wake up times. Eddie and Frankie were very warm hosts into their space and are some of the friendliest pets we have met. Overall we could not recommend staying at Alpine Rock highly...
