Christiansted

« Very comfortable and spacious value for budget conscious travelers. All basics provided in bathrooms and bottled water/coffee for the kitchen.Location convenient to shopping and lacks only a view.Smart TV/WIFI works well.Main area relies on A/C from bedrooms to flow in so it does get warm in summer heat but not excessively so. A fan would be helpful for this to direct the airflow.Would recommend again. »

« The unit was not clean and when we tried to bring it to Matt’s attention he blamed us even though we started taking pictures and documentation 20 mins after we arrived. The AC did not work in the living room or the master bedroom. He offered to send someone out but got offended when we asked for a later tike. Then he stopped responding to is and VRBO for 4 days straight. The whole time we had no AC. There was a terrible sewage smell and issue that we were not notified about but we saw signs at...

14. The Rooster’s Perch - A Quaint Island Homestead

Quartier Historique de Christiansted

« It was a nice and quaint location in an historic building steps from the Christiansted boardwalk. Communication from the host was prompt. It did have a slight smell that maybe was due to the age of the building? There was a dehumidifier supplied which we ran throughout our stay that seemed to help somewhat. The unit was clean and well kept. The grounds were lovely and also well kept. My wife and I would recommend this unit and host. »

« Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper,...
