« We loved the balcolny the most! Coffee in the morning and a drink at night. So fun to watch the boats and the water. The room was perfect for us. We appriciated the use of beach chairs and pool noodles. Michael was super kind and helpful. We would definately come back! »

« Great place to stay. Elvis showed us all the plants around the property before he left us to enjoy the place which was so enjoyable. The place is cuter than the pictures and the view was the best we saw on trip. It is on a mountain so prepare to be a lil cooler than the beaches. Our mistake was not getting a rental… which was difficult to find taxi small enough to navigate the roads… most taxis are large van/ small buses. So please get a rental as main road up to place is a well maintained road…...

« We very much enjoyed our stay here! The property itself was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. The unit included all of the little things needed, from beach towels/chairs/coolers to shampoo and conditioner, and even a clothes steamer! There was a guide book that was very helpful for instructions for the unit and recommendations for the town. We enjoyed many evenings on both balconies, soaking in the beautiful views. Communication with the host was always quick and easy and the directions...

« Clean, large deck that overlooked the bay with the auto ferry, beds were comfortable, bathroom looked recently update, and AC in bedrooms worked great. Walkable to Cruz Bay but you are dealing with a steep hill so you will need to be able to handle a steep incline for about 30 yards, walk in from the bay near auto ferry. It had beach chairs and coolers for use as well. Would recommend for a clean but fairly simple place with a water view. »

« We enjoyed our time at Lion's Gate and the property had all the necessities. The hill is a bit of a challenge the first time up, but after that we did fine both driving and walking it. Location to Red Hook and the ferries is excellent, but with that you may also get noise from the late-night revelers below. We did have to close the windows due to that and then one night of rain. We ate on the terrace watching the harbor activity and enjoying the breeze. A new mattress/box spring may be in order...
