« Disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were a little unwelcoming and the service was not great. A beautiful location but this was let down by terrible parking, poor facilities and attention to detail that wasn’t there!!!! The spa was poor with an outlook to a wall!! The room was also disappointing with hair on my pillow and uncomfortable cheap pillows. I was very much looking forward to this stay but was very disappointed. »

« Clean and quiet, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me. Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble Thanks for a great stay at a difficult time. »

« Bien place pour visiter le Dartmoor. À la campagne , calme , endroit agréable. Bon accueil. Fruits et gâteaux dans la chambre . La chambre aurait besoin d une petite rénovation. Séjour agréable, bon breakfast. »

« Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours. »

« Nice location but disappointing service by some of the staff. Sun loungers were very dirty looking, could do with covers over them and replaced daily. »
