Stunning country castle style hotel. Rooms finished to a very high standard. Staff were wonderfully attentive, seemed genuinely pleased to help and proud of their establishment.
Packed with history and a real oasis of peace and comfort.
Afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious with a wide choice of options. I felt that the dinner option I had was a bit ânouveau cuisineâ, lots on the plate but not much there. But what was there was very well prepared.
Spa was very pleasant, although a bit of a shame that the steam room was out of order, as well as the lift to the spa.
Will be staying again, itâs not cheap, but you pay for what you get.
