Room was clean, shower was strong and hot and there was a jacuzzi tub in the room. Bed was comfortable and location was quiet. For a budget option this place was great!

Jenna and her son made me feel right at home. Very nice wood-burning stove kept us warm all night. Have use of the kitchen for my meals.. highly recommend.

The heater was noisy on off all night floor in bathroom tile cold also bathroom was super small. The spa was good while it worked.

The heater kept going on & off, it’s too loud that I didn’t sleep well. There were stray hairs under the blanket. Not enough electrical sockets. Had to use the socket in the bathroom and couldn't close the door. My fiancee sleeps light and couldn’t get any sleep because of the light coming in from the bathroom, the bathroom needs curtains or something. The room/property is just outdated and needs an overdue renovation.

We liked this hotel. It is close to the Gondola and all the main attractions and not far from the lake too. Everything in our room was in good shape and working. The pool area was organized very nicely. We even got a better room than we paid for. Great stay indeed.

Summary: Next time I'm in South Lake Tahoe I will stay again. Longer version: Over the course of a week I stayed in 3 different rooms at the Tahoe Hacienda. Each was unique. For example the first had a tub, the other two only had showers. The third lacked a place to put your soap and shampoo. The first had only one wall plug, the second had a power strip, and the third had 2 power strips. That said, all 3 were very clean, the hot water was great, the AC worked fine, and the place was quiet. Each room had a nice firm bed, a desk, a dresser, a refrigerator, and a microwave. And a TV. No coffee maker but they had one in the lobby. The proprietors were pleasant. The room rates were very reasonable weekdays (one Friday they were higher, and on Saturday higher still). Even on Friday and Saturday the motel's prices were much better than elsewhere in town.

We stayed 4 nights in the Hacienda Inn. Very clean, quiet and bright room. Only one minus – old refrigerator. Overall, we strongly recommend this property.

Adequate hotel
This property was overpriced, but it was a summer weekend. The towels need to be replaced. The bed was nice, the room was clean. For that much money, a coffee maker would have been nice.

This is our favorite hotel to stay at when we’re out here in this area we love the pool. The only thing that was not up to par with the hot tub maybe next time but other than that the state was great.

Comfortable room.
This motel is older but clean, it’s comfortable and staff is friendly. Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of cable channels to choose from. I would stay again. Price was decent.
