We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We leave several amenities out toiletries for shower, toilet and paper towels, spices, olive oil and vinegar, and tissues. We usually have one in every bathroom. We are required to post rules by city ordinance for vacation rentals. It is something required but in general you have free range of home to enjoy your stay!

Thank you for your review. We definitely want you to know we take great pride in earning a 5 star review. We have the new hot tub that is a beautiful new 75 jet hot tub that is working properly. Given a delay in our shipper they were not able to deliver on weekend. As you know houses will have their issues and sorry it happened during your stay. The water heater has been fixed and if the refrigerator is left open for a bit it takes a while to re-cool during summer months. Lastly we have installed attic fan for evening and AC for hot summer days. This is a great addition to the home. We are glad you were able to enjoy your stay and would love to host you again!

Thank you for your review. We definitely want to earn 5 star and we go into great details to ensure comfort in the mattress, mattress pad, duvet/cover, bed sheets and pillows/cover. We have a Tempur-Pedic mattress in Cal-King Master suite and Queen pillow tops on the rest of the bedrooms. We know sleep is one of the key items in a great overnight stay and take great pride in making sure this is the case. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to have you back!

If at any time your having issues with anything please let somebody know. We are here to help, and hate 3 star reviews. The thermostat is Nest all you have to do is turn it to the right (heat turns up) left (heat turns down) turning it will override the setting. Somebody turned the gas off on the fireplace so the pilot light had to be re-started, it all can be a little confusing sometimes and I don't coming over and explaining things. Hope to have you again.

I know your upset about the water being turned off during the day, but the city sent a letter in April stating they are installing water meters to every residential house in the city of South Lake Tahoe between May 15-Oct 1st. They were not given specific dates. I now this was an inconvenience for you and my apologies e. I stayed at the property the week prior/after and didn’t see any leaks, and the microwave was in working condition. The toilet handles needs to pushed down a little bit more to work but we have replaced the whole toilet and in working order. We definitely take high priority and pride in our property and try to accommodate and communicate during your stay. We have staff available and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible given different circumstances out of our control. Also we provide a home away from home stay that provides the comforts you need when on vacation.
