« Very friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends. »

« Amazing place, breakfast was so fresh, location idyllic, rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect location to Salcombe and a nice pub in village within a few mins walk. Would stay again! »

« Faultless stay! Lovely calm location, very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Home away from home! I cannot stress how wonderfully clean it was, with excellent facilities. Very comfy bed, great shower! I enjoyed being welcomed back by a very sweet little black cat every evening! Lovely walks to the beach right on the doorstep. We will definitely be staying here again, would 100% recommend. »

« Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. »

« We flew from Texas to Buckfastleigh for a vacation with family. We loved the house and the host, Shelley and Pete, made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Each morning she provided a huge variety of delicious breakfast items. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were clean. « The bunk room is compact and perfect. We had a wonderful stay with a great shower and cosy bunk beds. Staff at Alf’s downstairs were super lovely. Already planning next visit. »

« De passage pour la nuit, nous avons apprécié le calme du lieu, la vue sur le terrain de golf, le lounge et la salle à manger et l'accueil: nous étions seuls pour le diner et nous avons eu le droit à un plat frais et bien cuisiné. "Manoir" et chambre sont un peu défraîchis mais les lits étaient confortables. »

10/10 Excellent

"Très bonne prise en charge dès l'arrivée au parking. Arrivée sur l'île en "sea tractor" (j'en rêvais). Excellent accueil à l'hôtel. La décoration et le mobilier Art Déco des chambres et des parties communes sont superbes. Très belle vue. La chambre était spacieuse avec un petit balcon. Lit immense très confortable. La salle de bain était bien mais petite. Comme il n'y avait pas de paroi de douche, même en faisant très attention, tout était inondé y compris l'accès aux toilettes. Excellent diner dans le très beau Pub "le Pilchard". "
