« Booked to visit the Lodge with some friends. The lodge did not disappoint one bit. Was much bigger than expected and very homely. The lodge had everything we needed and more. Lovely little kitchen for the times we cooked there. A lovely little welcome pack. Also very handy with the local takeaway options and where the local pub and shop was. « Kitchen well equipped and easy to prepare food. Washer dryer is useful although not mentioned on the website. Freezer was without shelves for some reason.. mentioned to staff. Some damp in the back bedroomâ€¦ cold spell, heating and no wall insulation likely to be cause.Heating not working when arrivedâ€¦ called reception and it was resolved in a few minutes with a maintenance/site attendant sent to help immediately. Bedding and pillows very comfortable. Great accommodation all round. »

« Deer Leap is a fabulous lodge in a lovely setting and really quite private. Spotlessly clean and smelled lovely on entering. We loved the hot tub and the bathroom door leading directly to it outside. The twinkly lights over the covered seating area outside were so pretty at night.
