« We enjoy our annual ‘no kids’ BH weekend away and this is our first year in this accommodation. Great space downstairs, plenty of kitchen equipment and seating for all. The outside is well maintained and beautiful and the hot tub was great - covered and with TV (even if it did lose the visual during our stay) Really comfortable beds, great sized rooms and very peaceful. « Some of the doors are very squeaky which was a bit of a pain when trying to put young kids to bed but thatâ€™s only a minor thing. The lodge could do with a few minor refurbishments like the bathroom door was very old and chipped and some of the skirting boards in the bathroom were a bit tatty but we really couldnâ€™t fault the holiday at all. « Deer Leap is a fabulous lodge in a lovely setting and really quite private. Spotlessly clean and smelled lovely on entering. We loved the hot tub and the bathroom door leading directly to it outside. The twinkly lights over the covered seating area outside were so pretty at night. The huge bed was super-comfy, we slept very well.
