"Ocean Lookout" - Community Pool, Tennis and Beach Access!
Welcome to "Ocean Lookout," your perfect coastal retreat located in the exclusive Village of Stump Sound community. This beautiful vacation rental offers stunning sound views from its multiple decks, and access to an array of fantastic amenities, including a community pool, beach, tennis court, and clubhouse.
Upon arrival, park in one of the two fully covered carports and enter the house through the ocean-side front door. A central staircase connects all levels of the home, from the carport to the loft.
On the lower level, you'll find three of the home's four bedrooms. The first bedroom, immediately to the left of the front door and stairs, features a queen bed and access to a lower-level ocean-view deck. Adjacent to this is the second bedroom on the sound side, offering a queen bed, flat-screen TV, a private sound-view deck with stairs to the ground level, and shared access to a bathroom.
To the right of the front door, the third bedroom boasts a king bed, a private full bathroom with double sinks, a large book library, TV, and access to the front ocean-side deck. Relax on the lower ocean-side deck with its swing and Adirondack chairs, perfect for soaking in the calming ocean sounds. A washer and dryer are also conveniently located on this level.
The main level is dedicated to a spacious and inviting living area. At the top of the stairs, you'll find a fully equipped galley-style kitchen with ample cabinet and counter space. To the left, there's a small desk and a dining table that seats eight, with sliding glass doors leading to the upper ocean-side deck.
On the sound side of the main level, the living room provides a comfortable seating arrangement with a leather couch, loveseat, and two armchairs, all facing a flat-screen TV and decorative fireplace. This room opens to a screened-in deck with a table and chairs for delightful outdoor dining. A small staircase leads to a cozy seating area with a picturesque window view.
To the right of the stairs, the master bedroom awaits. This luxurious space features a king bed, deck access, and a spacious bathroom with a double vanity, stand-up shower, and garden tub. The bathroom also has hallway access for convenience.
Outside, the community offers an array of amenities, including a pool, tennis court, clubhouse, beach access, and a sound-side dock with a launch for canoes and kayaks. The community pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, perfect for summer fun.

CANCELLATIONS - Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period less non refundable reservation fee, cancellation fee, and third-party fees. CHECK IN DAY DETAILS - Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.
PREPARING FOR YOUR VACATION - All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.
You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description. Linen package options include BRONZE (bed sheets only per bed listed), SILVER (bed sheets per bed listed, a bath towel set per occupancy, dish towel, and a bath mat per shower/tub), and GOLD (all items from the SILVER package plus one extra bath towel per occupancy).

Beach Nourishment: Beach nourishment projects help preserve and protect Topsail Island’s shoreline. Most projects are scheduled annually between November and April and may involve large pipes on the beach, trucks moving sand, and other equipment to rebuild and maintain our dunes. Timelines and locations can shift without notice, and we are not always informed in advance. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.
Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.
Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.
