« Had a GREAT time here! House was beautiful and perfect! Trail was well marked and obviously well maintained. Creek out back was so nice to the ears, nice fire pit (didn’t use because it was rainy). Host was super nice and attentive about any questions I had. Great place to stay, would highly recommend!! »

« Black Bear Lodge was a great location for a reunion of friends and family that have been skiing together for nearly forty years. We love Snowshoe and the lodge was exceptionally convenient to Cupp Run. We had 14 adults and two children and we were all comfortable. « We absolutely loved our stay at the Dome Home! The house is stunning and so spacious. Harman was extremely informative and communicative. « This is a very well maintained property in a perfect location. Only a few minutes walking distance to the slopes & the village, and sporting great views over the mountain ranges to the west. Everything is clean and functional, and the owners are quick to respond to any requests. « Spent the long weekend skiing with a friend, my daughter, and her friends. The house was amazing. The bathrooms are brand new and the rooms were perfect. I liked the master on the first floor. The hot tub was a bonus but the lid had a poor design. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. We were disappointed the fireplace did not work. The shuttle to the ski mountains was superb and an absolute bonus. We would definitely stay again. »

« Lovely house! We had a ton of snow and it was difficult to get to the property. Luckily we had 4W drive, which is a must. The only thing lacking was coffee mugs. There were 5 which is inadequate for a house that sleeps 20, but otherwise it was well equipped and comfortable. »

« Great place for larger groups. Had great space for our group - including seating and fridge space. First time staying outside the core of the village. Only maybe a 7-10 minute walk to the village, just keep in mind the elevation change. Be sure to use the shuttle if you struggle with stairs. »

« The house and property are amazing the craftsmanship of the house was outstanding. It was definitely lived in with many personal touches but we felt at home. Dan was very helpful in locating all the places we wanted to visit. The directions on how to find the house were spot on. The entire stay was an amazing experience. « I went there to propose to my now fiancé, the plan was for friends and family to arrive first and by the time I proposed on the mountain our friends to be waiting to surprise her. The staff was super accommodating with an early check in and the place was great, very large and ski on ski off from western territories. Highly recommend if you're there with a large group. »

« Me and a group of friends rented this place out for spring break and it was amazing. The house was super clean upon arrival and included many amenities. The house is also located about a 2 minute walk to the ski slope which was a huge plus. Also you can’t beat the view of the sunset on the front porch. The owner Phil is super friendly and easy to get in contact with if needed. Me and my friends will definitely be planning a trip back up here soon. »

« We had a lovely stay for my husband’s 42 birthday at snowshoe. The location to the slopes was great and the cabin was comfortable and peaceful. If forced to give criticisms, we had a few maintenance issues (some lights didn’t work in the bathrooms) and there was no toaster which was a bummer but not a big deal at all!
