Easy & clear instructions for room access after front desk hours. Staff were friendly & helpful. The attached Grand Cafe was our favorite Silver Star eatery! The front desk hours were variable & not what was posted on the website. It would be helpful if the hours were posted at the front desk.

the second we walked into the Bulldog, we knew we made a mistake. The lobby was dim and depressing, and the carpets were old and tattered. The room itself was no better: the bed was old and soft and saggy, the couch was tired and dated, and the whole place badly needs an upgrade. The staff who checked us in on Sat Mar 30 was friendly and helpful, but the bored man behind the desk on Sunday did not even deign to look up from his phone, not even once, as guests walked in and out. Honestly, we would rather sleep in a snowbank than stay at the Bulldog again.

This apartment and furniture is very tired. The couch has no support left, the hallway and lighting is dingy, and generally this facility needs an update. We did not get the advertised daily housekeeping - had to ask for everything - hair dryer, toilet paper, new towels etc. Would not say again.

Older property, but very comfortable. It has a guest laundry and is close to restaurants. Ski -in and Ski-out. Male reception staff was extremely surly and the place would do well to get rid of him. No breakfast on the premises and restaurant only opens some days.

Location is fantastic and close to the slopes. The rooms are a bit run down, but otherwise the location and friendliness of the staff makes up for it!

The staff were absolutely lovely here and the location is fantastic. The hot tub was amazing to sit in after a day of skiing in sub-zero temperatures! I give the property a 4/5 overall simply because we struggled to get hot water (the staff were very apologetic but apparently it's because the building is OLD and sub-zero temps don't help). The decor is also very...unique...for lack of a better word. If you can look paste the kitsch then this is a great place to stay at Silverstar if you're looking for a night or two!

Room was comfortable and clean. Huge bonus we were allowed to check when we arrived which was shortly after 9am. Very accommodating, we really appreciated the flexibility for early check in.

We found all the staff friendly and had some lovely conversation. We took in the pub and restaurant the food was was very good and the servers do a great job serving costumers.

We had a great one night stay at the Bulldog on Silver Star. It was extremely convenient - right in the village - clean, and affordable, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
