« The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...

« The 3 course meal was al a carte status, excellent made by chef/ owner. Lovely bedrooms and v clean and owners very welcoming. Lovely views and walks nearby. For children the wildlife park is worth a visit nearby. »

« Clean room and helpful staff throughout our 5 night stay. Noise from the bar entrance/exit goes on until the small hours of the morning and traffic lights directly below, so recommend room is selected away from the street side as the windows offer absolutely no noise abatement. Food is good with a large selection however no evening food available, so recommend The Anglers opposite for evening meals »
