Parfait tout simplement
Tout simplement superbe tant au niveau des équipements que du service. Une magnifique résidence à quelques minutes à pied de tout, une piscine incroyablement grande belle propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses très confortables, la literie est excellente. On ne peut que faire des compliments sur le personnel très prévenant, toujours de bon conseil. On adore tout et particulièrement les petits gestes : serviettes glacées au retour de chaque promenade, vélos à disposition, glaces, fruits et massages au bord de la piscine, excellents conseils pour les restaurants, petit déjeuner impeccable. BRAVO

Excellent séjour, le personnel est prévenant et très professionnel . L'hôtel est situé à mi chemin entre l'aéroport, le site d'Angkor et le centre ville de Siem Reap à quelques minutes de marches ce qui en fait une adresse stratégique. Notre chambre était très agréable, avec un décor soigné dans un esprit coloniale, cependant pour un 5 étoiles il n'y avait pas de Fer à repasser à disposition dans les chambres. Petite déception quand à la vue depuis notre petit balcon donnant sur une route principale plutôt bruyante qui est très gênant car la chambre est mal isolé du bruit, ce qui est décevant vu le prix de la chambre qui est beaucoup trop excessif quand aux hôtels concurrents de même standard. La piscine de l'hôtel est merveilleuse dans un écrin de verdure, avec une taille conséquente qui permet de faire des longueurs de nage ! De plus l'hôtel propose des animations, dont la bénédiction par des moines bouddhiste (gratuit), ainsi qu'un diner spectacle de danse traditionnel Cambodgienne Apsara dans l'un de leur restaurant vraiment agréable un peu dessus cependant par la carte. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très varié entre une sélection continental et cambodgienne. Cependant les prestations de l'hôtel sont assez chers par rapport aux prestations de même standard de la ville.

The hotel is definitely one of the best in Siem Reap. It’s location couldn’t be better - only a 10 minute walk to night market and pub street, where most restaurants are located. The staff are all very nice and helpful, they are always smiling which gives the guest a good vibe. The facilities are great, the pool area is very relaxing and the spa is excellent. Breakfast there is really good, with many options. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable and the bathroom is very good and big. We only have a small complaint. There was a private event going on in the hotel and because of it some areas of the hotel were closed to guests - for example the lunch restaurant one day (we got back after a tiring morning and had to wait until it reopened at 3PM), and the dinner restaurant another day (we had to go out). The guests should be able to use all the facilities they are paying for, regardless.

Airport pick-up worked fabulously and ride was very comfortable. The property is designed in a beautiful Cambodian style. The pool is breath-taking. Food is good but pricy. Unfortunately, some of our experience requests were not confirmed upfront and were missing in our file. We did receive a note informing us of an employee no longer being with the company and 2 out of office emails from other staff members prior to arrival. The staff seemed not properly informed/trained on the “circus dinner experience”. The tour operator for the Angkor Temple is fantastic and can be highly recommended.

We loved this hotel. The room was so comfortable and great to relax in after a day of touring. We especially loved the couple's bathtub. The pool was wonderful and so was the spa. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I picked this property in competition of Park Hyatt and Raffles. I think I made the right choice. The overall design is beautiful, the pool is great despite not very friendly for kids. The rooms are spacious and the little balcón is nice. Impressed with how the green garden is incorporated in the overall design. Breakfast is great. Very much liked all aspects of the breakfast. Service and attitude of the staff is overall world class. The property is for most parts great. There were some minor defects in the bathroom that they were unable to fix during our stay which was average. The overall maintenance of the property is not also on pair of a true luxury property. The roof needs improvement work and some of the decorations on the exterior are broken. The bathrooms in the main building have sinks that don’t allow hands to be put under the tap without touching the tap and the sink which is not hygienic. Overall, whatever shortage there may have been at Belmond I am sure I would have had the same experience at other top hotels in Siem Reap. Had dinner in Park Hyatt and there were two electricity short cuts and the AC didn’t work in the main dining room. Siem Reap as a destination still has a decade to go to reach true international five star level but if you like time travel and nice people this is the place to go.

Beautiful calm oasis of a hotel. Truly lovely. Staff superb, rooms perfect. Two restaurants offer great choice of menu, and breakfast to die for. The best bed and pillows of any hotel we have stayed in!
