The owner occupies the floor above. This is an older house with zero sound insulation, every noise from above is heard below.

Super nice weekend home
Check-in and check-out was easy. We loved the inside. It was very clean and had a nice layout of rooms. It was very spacious and the beds were comfy. We had everything we needed like towels, breakfast food like eggs and bread, cutlery, plates, cups, coffee. TV had cable and Netflix. It's near the airport and Patricia Bay highway so we had no problem coming in and out. It's close to the tourist attractions by car. Everything was within 30 minutes. It is a very nice home to stay in when visiting Victoria Island. :)

Sidney experience
This home away from home was perfect. Location was excellent close to airport and ferries to mainland for son and daugher in law to visit from Vancouver. All amenities were there including enough food milk cream english muffins etc to get us started. Would book again in a minute.

Exactly what we needed
This is our 2nd stay here but this time we had Grandma with us. Proximity to the airport and family made traveling with her far easier. The walkability of the neighborhood is awesome 10/10 would recommend.

Overall “okay” 2-bedroom accommodation
Suite was as expected, however, to receive an excellent review, some renovation is due and some deeper cleaning is necessary. Lots of sound transfer between the upstairs and the suite. Very nice to arrive to enough groceries for the first breakfast and a fairly well-stocked cupboard.

Pretty Sidney
We stayed two weeks and had a lovely visit. We found the place very clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. Loved the fireplace for taking the spring chill out of us after a long walk. Too bad the weather only let us sit out once; it’s a nice treat to have our own space though we did use the BBQ a couple of times! Just under a 2km walk to the main street in Sidney so we walked it most days. It’s a nice small town with a nice waterfront walk and a few shops aimed for tourists to keep things interesting. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. Just great! Can’t think of anything more or different we could have wanted! Thanks!

Great host, great place
Dave is quick to reply to messages, and responsive to requests and needs. The suite is nicely decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated the generous stocking of the fridge with essentials. The rental is close to the ferry and to Sidney. Next time we are in the Sidney area we'll be looking to stay here again.

Better than expected!
We just had a lovely stay here. The pictures do not do it justice, it’s brighter than the pictures show. The unit is very well equipped with the odds and ends you need - we were impressed with what the unit had. We had a great stay and I would recommend this place to others!

Looking for a place in lovely Sidney… beware of this one!
Our first impression was disappointment with a big step down from the driveway into the suite, uncomfortable furnishings and the laundry outside in a workshop. Our disappointment turned to horror when the rat arrived. It left a mess everywhere including our clothes and bed. Although we asked politely for a cleaner to come, we had to do it ourselves while we waited for the traps to do their job. The owner above seemed very unconcerned when we asked for a mop and said the rats days were numbered. He later texted us to say he wanted a meeting because we were rude to ask for a cleaner. He didn’t show for the meeting but a day later we got a text asking us to come and pack right away as we were being evicted. We packed quickly under supervision who told us she was there because in the past others had trashed the place. The owner then posted a review of us saying we brought the rat with us. We found a lovely place quickly and moved on, we just don’t wish this experience on anyone else.

Extremely clean property, beautifully decorated, outside patio area that we used a lot. Fridge was fully stocked with bottled water and breakfast foods.( We were not expecting any food at all ) A large bowl of fresh fruit was also provided. Our only suggestion would be a 'Watch Your Step' sign on the entrance door, when entering the suite. There is a bit of a drop.

Property was as advertised. Suite is very clean, bright and nicely decorated. Host provided breakfast items, fruit basket and condiments. We stayed 5 nights and it was convenient for sightseeing the Saanich peninsula and Victoria. Would stay again.

Very nice overall. We found the beds a bit too soft for our liking and cotton sheets would have been preferred. Very nice host. Would definitely visit again.

Great location & beautiful 2 bedrm suite.
This cozy, comfortable suite is close to the ferries and airport. Dave greeted us upon arrival and was very accommodating and pleasant. The suite is well stocked with little added extras like condiments and breakfast staples. It is also tastefully decorated and we felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again should the occasion arise and we recommend this property highly. Thank you Dave, for the lovely stay.

Quiet stay
We are repeat renters and enjoy the area. Able to walk to restaurants (25 min), to the ocean (10), and easily access Victoria by car (25-40). If you fly, it's 12 min from the airport, and 10 minutes from either ferry. Well stocked kitchen supplies (breakfast items) and comfortable living area to relax.

We appreciated the fruit and other goodies left in the kitchen. It was clean, roomy for 4 people, we liked the fire place. It took a while for the heat to be turned on - we were ready to inquire when we heard the furnace come on.

This 2 bedrooms suite is all you can ask for. It's pretty, clean and have absolutely everything.
I was looking for a place that was reasonable on price and with all the convenience of a house. This bedroom suite had it all ! We had an espresso coffee in the morning and breakfast before leaving for the day. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare your meals and more (oil, sugar, butter, pancake mix, spices, mustard, ketchup, etc.). It was highly appreciated as we did not want to eat in restaurants every night. The beds are also very comfortable. This place is a 5 stars no doubt.

We had an excellent stay in Sidney! This rental is perfectly located. Our family of 4 stayed here comfortably and made day trips to Salt Spring Island and Victoria by bike and bus. They kindly provided some breakfast treats and the coffee machine was excellent and super easy to use! We’d definitely return again!
